As their menu is quite extensive, we decided to order one of their prix fixe menus: Menu du Sillon, so we didn't take up too much of the waiter's time. I ordered the fish soup appetizer (rockfish) which as quite tasty. The Dover sole was my main course and it was excellent! They removed the head, skin and bones and plated it at the table. Crème brûlée was a must for dessert. My table mate had the cheese platter for dessert and they brought a hug assortment of cheeses on it and gave him his choice of cheeses. He took one of each. What a lucky choice! There are only 6 tables and we did not have a reservation, but they had one common table that they seated us at. The menu is written on a chalkboard that the waiter/manager brings to your table. We don't speak any French and he only spoke a little English but it was enough to convey the basics of each dish as well as the wine list. We started with a lovely fresh crab and rice salad with grapefruit and avocado. For the mains, we got skate in a light cream sauce with perfectly grilled zucchini and eggplant and a John Dory filet with a sublime mango potato cream sauce. I've had a lot of fish in my life, but these were two of the best dishes I've ever had. We finished with a lovely peach and lemon cream tart. Best of all, the price was very reasonable.
