I stopped by around 1pm on a Monday and there was about 3-4 people in front of me, but it moved quickly. The staff were super friendly, and they spoke English as well. They had so many delicious looking pastries and savory items. I'd heard that Lyon is known for this pastry, brioche praline, so I wanted to try it out. I personally wasn't a fan of the taste. I wasn't even hungry at the time, but without a second thought, I went inside the bakery and ordered a chocolate-and-almond croissant. This pastry is easily the best thing that I'd eaten on my month-long trip in Europe, and likely all the times that I'd been to Europe. It came in the shape of a traditional pain au chocolate, but the the top had shards of roasted almonds while the inside was filled both almond paste and dark chocolate strips. It was so good that I almost, almost ordered a second one until I decided to think of my health and ordered a standard croissant instead. The croissant was also fantastic, just not as amazing as the chocolate-almond croissant. I almost didn't know what this bakery was called, since it only had a 'P' logo in front of its door, but thankfully Google Maps helped me find it. It's a very small bakery that already had a small line forming out the door after I finished my croissant. Cash only! Also, it's cash-only! I believe I spent less than 4 euros on the two pastries.

Comes in a large or small circular loaf with thick, textured crust and an impressively soft, moist center. Prices are comparable to other bakeries (which are pretty similar across France for bread). We had several approach our table, but one, Charlene was very territorial. She chased off other cats and other humans. The place was also very well decorated, with cat trees and boxes, and various places for them to curl up in and allow you to approach them to pet them. The rules are, cats can come to you but you're not allowed to pick them up. It really wasn't a problem, as noted. The cats definitely approached us, Sat at our table, stole our chairs when we would get up, and we had plenty of opportunity to pet, and love on various ones. They also have very cute souvenirs of the cats. Everybody was very kind and welcoming.
