Pinch is a total replica of American hipster craft cocktail bars, in Milan. The bartenders wear suspenders and do tricks with shakers. I'm waiting for an ironic mustache, preferably like the Moretti guy has. The drinks are exceptional. When I was there, they had one made of green tomatoes and mountain pine liqueur that was a taste party in my mouth. The aperitivo snacks are also really excellent, a small tray of various interesting crunchy things. No potato chips -- we're talking samosas in wonton wrappers with sweet chili sauce, Indian curry rice, a ham-arugula roll, and baba ghanoush. My second drink didn't quite match the first, but it was close. Also, the only bar in Milan that gave me *zero* grief about wanting a simple glass of tap water. In fact, they just give you one. Mega bonus points for that. I'm sick of paying for "aqua panna Toscana" that I neither need nor want. Been drinking Milan tap water in my hotel room for four days now. It's fine. Pour it on. Food offerings from the regular menu are a little hit or miss, but on the other hand, I had kind of stuffed myself with aperitivo. Had I been hungry, might've been a different story.

Pinch is a new bar right in Ripa di Porta Ticinese, not in the pedestrian part of the Naviglio, which means they don't have outside seating - except for the tables at the windows. It has a retro vibe, as if you entered a 1920s bar, dim lights, soft 1920's music; elegant but not ostentatious atmosphere. The cocktails list has about 15 signature cocktails, all with an explanation of the alcoholic level (medium or high), taste (fresh, spicy, bitter, etc.) and of course the ingredients, classic cocktails with a twist, made extremely well, with good ingredients. They also have a food menu but I didn't check it out since we were there for the aperitivo - which then turned into after-dinner drinks. I had the "South of the Border" with tequila, chartreuse vert, lime juice, sugar syrup and fresh mint, it was fresh and delicious, then I had another one and another one... just to be sure they were made perfectly ;) For the aperitivo, our cocktails were 8 euro each and the waiter (who looked like Robert Pattinson) brough a small tray with some snacks: rice and salad in small glasses, chips, mini-sandwiches and a couple of vol-au-vents - not enough to fill our stomachs completely but also not the average greasy aperitivo food. I opted for lunch on the terrace, which offered a breathtaking view of the city. I was able to relax and sip a glass of wine while the city bustled below. I started my lunch with the "raw special" dish, consisting of slices of raw tuna, salmon, amberjack, and swordfish. I also indulged in raw Sicilian prawns, which came highly recommended by the server. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, the raw seafood definitely got me excited for my main course. Scrumptious Kobe rump steak tataki, topped with a creamy bean sauce and sweet caramelized red onions has to be the most wonderful thing I've ever tasted. The meat was tender and juicy, and the creaminess of the sauce complimented it perfectly. Even though I had enjoyed every last bite of my food and was feeling full, I knew I just had to try dessert. I opted for something light - the raspberry parfait in mango sauce - because fruit is always a great way to end a meal, right? Right! The parfait was topped with a red, ripe strawberry, which I saved for last, of course. I can't wait to come back to Globe and enjoy a cocktail, unwind in the lounge, and even try their dinner menu. They serve surprisingly strong drinks here, so they are sippable and can last you a while. The bar of food as some good choices. My friends and I have only been in Spain for a day and a half and so we were super excited. She didn't specify which AYCE place we should do to so we looked around. First off, Navigli Darsena is beautiful. It's an amazing lake to walk around. There's plenty of AYCE places but Manhattan defiantly stood out and was a fantastic deal. It was super lively and it helped reassure that we were going to a good place. It is the first restaurant on the left side by the lake. There were several people inside by the lake and indoors. We didn't know exactly what to do but a employee quickly found us and helped get us seated. We we served and the waitress was super helpful! Basically how this place works is that you buy a drink (12€ regular, 15€ large) and it comes with the buffet. There was a huge selection of drinks so there should be something for everyone. If you get the large drink, it comes in a huge cup which put us in awe. You pay once you get your drinks, which come pretty quickly. The buffet was actually delicious and a lot to choose from. Paired well with the drinks, but of course LOTS OF CARBS! My favourite was the potatoes, pizza, and little sandwich. Everything is a perfect bite size. The employees are super friendly, even though they don't have to be because they're not working for tips. They were helpful and kind. It brought a lot of ease. I told the employee serving us that she was pretty and she gave me a hug! She was so sweet (small tan skinned with curly hair).
