Don't think just the usual pate ... the five foie gras plates at this restaurant top or match anything you could find in Paris. There is a pop up toaster in reach of every table so that one can toast the bread as one needs it. The bread is cut just the correct size for the little toasts. The menu is wonderful ... You will find vegetables (missing in too many French restaurants) and very creative plates.

No sooner than we sat down and the place filled up, and with good reason - the food was fantastic. Rustic, flavorful, fantastic. Started out with salad with warm cheese - surprisingly the cheese was baked in puffed pastry and was excellent. The greens were accompanied with a delicate oil and vinegar dressing. The main courses was a beef pie, cooked in beer with fresh herbs - delicious. What made the visit especially enjoyable was that the chef dropped by our table, was charming , totally unpretentious and visibly pleased that we enjoyed our meal. A great experience.
