The table settings were gorgeous. Communication was great. All of her staff were lovely, easy to work with and FUN! I have some amazing photos and incredible memories. One of the biggest reasons we chose this venue is because of the event coordinator Elaine. She is their best asset. She helped us plan every detail. She offered suggestions and advice as we needed if. She was always available and prompt with responses. She stayed from the time the girls arrived to get ready until late at night until everyone had their last drink. She made sure our night went perfect. We knew once we met Elaine we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She is wonderful. The rest of the staff the worked at the event were excellent. They were fun, engaging, polite and friendly. They led the electric slide during some dancing. They also worked incredibly hard while they were chatting with us and all of our guests. They were always asking can I get you anything. They all went above and beyond during the entire night. The food was great. We had lunch while getting ready. It had sandwhiches cheese fruit chips and drinks. This was just the fuel we needed before a busy day ahead. Lori even came in to greet us and ask how everything was going and made sure we had everything we needed. During our cocktail hour we chose some apps that were yummy and perfect for while people were mingling. The meatballs and spring rolls were excellent. The cheese and olive tray with fruit and cheese were great The meal we chose was buffet style with steak tips, teriyaki chicken, carrots, mashed potato and dinner rolls. The Inn itself is quaint and historic and the perfect location for an event or a group getaway. It is right next to the water and just beautiful. There are canoes to use as well as games and books inside. They are also just great restaurant and bar as well, with amazing specialty drinks and an eclectic collection of local beer and IPAs on tap. I highly recommend this place for your summer or fall getaway. I know we'll be back.

It was huge had 2 big white roses , lilies and was so big that we had to make a new bouquet that the bride could carry for the simple wedding from OTHER flowers we had purchased elsewhere to decorate the house. The HUGE bouquet was used as a floor decoration. A small hair barrette was also ordered- it was specifically to be tiny with no baby's breath but just two red rose BUDS. It was white and it was not roses at all and was large. A friend remade this with , again, flowers we had purchased for other use elsewhere. The groom's boutonniere , which was to be one small red rosebud, was a huge white rose. One wonders if there was some agenda here or simply poor service. These were all carefully ordered. The blossoms used were all reasonably fresh but this caused us to need to call a friend in at the last minute to fix the flowers.
