Sauces were a lovely add on. Chose The Best THB and it was a flavorful mix of Mayo & sweet chili & when in Belgium, Mayo & fries is the only way to go The staff was over the top amazing & after overhearing we were planning to split out burgers, they asked the kitchen to cut them into halves and split them for us! If your looking for something easy but HEARTY, this is it. The burger and beer parings are awesome and the place is really cool. There's a history to the place which I liked. I suggest getting the beer that is paired with the burger. They also have unlimited Belgian frites which is of course a plus. Highly recommend!

The rabbit meat was surprisingly tender and the stew/sauce added some nice flavor. For those who haven't had rabbit before, it takes kind of like chicken to be honest, just with smaller bones. I think the price was okay considering the quality and type of dish. The fresh grapefruit juice (€5.80) was very good too. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. I was seated right away and the service speed was pretty quick. They have a decently sized indoor space as well as outdoor patio seating. The environment has a traditional Belgian restaurant/pub kind of vibe. Overall, Le Bistro has high quality traditional Belgian food in a pleasant setting and I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area near Porte de Hal / Marollen.

The ingredients were fresh, the eatery is small which can be exceptionally nice on a Sunday afternoon. I hadn't tried bagels before, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Nina without the avocado. I liked that, it shows that there was no problem to accommodate my tastes. It's something different than what we normally have for lunch/brunch and everything in between. They have bagels of the month on their board, that might help you with your choice. The staff was friendly and kind. I finished off with a carrot cake, oh my oh my! Tasty, not heavy on the sugar: it's served with a syrup that fits it perfectly. Overall I had a good experience and I recommend it!

The service was great, they take credit cards with chips, and the selection/prices were unbeatable. The interior is cozy and classic, with a large buffalo head perched above the bar. While bar service is only downstairs on slow nights, I highly recommend sitting upstairs where there are several small tables with benches hanging from the wall. The tables overlook the bar area below. Contrary to a previous review, while the music and atmosphere can become loud on the weekends, we never had an issue hearing each other in conversation. They played great music throughout the night. Overall, cafe Bizon is highly highly recommended as one of my favorite bars visited throughout my travels. The decor is unique as you can see from the photos. Our server was very helpful and patient with us since we didn't speak Belgian - only English. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were plentiful. It was nice to not have to make a decision since they served them all in their own pots . Served with fries. We ordered a large beer and it was huge. The service was quick.
