The ambience of this place is ok, minimalistic and clean. They cater to hotel guests who don't dare to explore the bad (?) neighborhood. This is not the place to take your date on Vslentine's day. There is ample seating, yet we were made to make a reservation and wait 30 minutes with the seating area not even half full. Probably to take pressure off the cook. Waitress was friendly. The food was solid, nothing to write home about, but actually better than expected. We were told they were out of salad (standard side of half the dishes) without being offered an alternative. The hotel itself is good, clean and inexpensive for its proximity to Lyon and the major travel route to Spain and that's probably the main reason for guests to come and ultimately dine here. For the price it's acceptable and I would eat here again. read more

The room was recently renovated with a comfy bed, nice shower and an outdoor seating area. The price was very reasonable. Breakfast had a nice selection of options.
