I called Meeks water treatment and asked them to come give me a solution. I explained I am from NY and have never had to deal with a well or this type of water and would be relying on their expert information. They discussed a system that would stop all the above and give us great water to drink. I agreed and we had the system installed. Had them set up on a regular visit for salt and service. So, the smell and black residue came back shortly after (just under a year) they came out looked it over and said THEY installed one of the pieces backwards and they needed to fix that AND I had to pay for labor. Yup, I did it, again, mistakes happen, ok, I dont think I should have had to pay, but. Ok, a little over a month, SAME THING. This time they tell me, again their mistake, I should have had a different unit installed not what I have and oh yes, they would give me a break on parts and labor, but I still had to pay. You guessed it, AGAIN we have the same thing, paid again for a service call to be told I need to get a plumber to come back wash my new water heater because when they had them set up in the wrong order it may have pushed sediment into the heater. Paid a plumber to come do just that, have video of NOTHING coming out of the heater and the plumber said, no way that is what is wrong. so here I sit, thousands out and still have a smell to the water and black sediment in the toilets. HELP, I am done calling Meek for them to keep charging me for THEIR mistakes. I wouldnt be SO against them if maybe they once said, Hey, this has been our problem, the service call is on us.

A high level of total dissolved solids (TDS) was indicated, and Wesley identified a faulty water softener was the contributing source. We disconnected the water softener and are flushing the system to clear the elevated TDS. The whole inspection only took about 30 minutes and Wesley provided the service free-of-charge. Great job.

I paid a substantial amount of insurance proceeds toward the Project based on representations made regarding the scope of work, timing, and quality of performance. Unfortunately, the work performed was extremely slow, poorly managed, and far below what was represented. The Project was repeatedly delayed and left unfinished for extended periods of time. Only limited and temporary measures were performed, including tarping, temporary structural supports, and minimal emergency work. Critical permanent repairs were never completed. No permanent roof repair, roof replacement, or structural reconstruction was finished, despite months passing and significant insurance funds being paid. The temporary tarps installed by the contractor failed and were not timely replaced, which resulted in additional water intrusion and damage to my home. The contractor further mismanaged the Project by failing to maintain consistent progress, ordering materials incorrectly, and failing to provide any clear or reliable schedule for completion. Despite being paid a total of $39,000.00 in insurance proceeds, the contractor abandoned the Project before completion and refused to return unearned and overpaid funds. As a result, my home remained in poor condition for an extended period, causing significant stress, inconvenience, and additional expense. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

The only downside is the lack of an invoice for the work being done and installed. I've asked the owner, Tony, a few times but never received one. This is important because the valve alone was around $2,000, and Kohler requires proper documentation for warranty coverage (5 year warranty with this valve) if any issues come up.

The Techs were polite. The inability of the Techs to troubleshoot the elements on the water heater earned them 2 stars and value is a 2 because they replace instead of repair. I made the decision, could have said no, so I am being fair in giving a 4. They wouldn't be my first call next time, but I would not rule them out. I would ask more questions up front before scheduling a service call. Yelp, I give 1 star because I only got one response. Next time I will pick up the phone and contact the contractors myself.
