I deleted the photo from the Wincott listing LCBO because that is on the north side of Eglinton. This store is on the south side of Eglinton. I created a new listing for this location and reposted the photo on this listing. This building is not brand new but it is new. It's part of the strip mall at Lloyd Manor and Eglinton and has their own parking lot as part of the large strip mall directly across the street from Shell. While this store may look smaller on the inside it's actually a decent size. It looks smaller (to me) because it has a dedicated fridge room for the beer and other drinks that are made to be sold as cold. I could have sworn I saw near the door of the fridge room some 24's on a skid but the LCBO probably doesn't sell them as 24, probably 4 x 6 packs still? It's a valid question considering the whole beer store controversy of 12's and 24's etc. Still it's a relatively good sized store primarily made up of wine aisles, some hard liquor and a dedicated refrigeration room for beer etc. I'm not sure if the store at Wincott is still there... I've never been to that location before if in fact they are keeping it. It's sort of close to this location making it sort of redundant.

I am giving the food at the restaurant 3 starts, however, the speed of the kitchen gets ZERO!! The servers get 1 start. The food: the selection is not vast but it is nicely put together. There is something on the menu for everyone. Beef, chicken, gluten free which is rare to see on a mine so good for them. The servers: I was here two separate times for dinner and every time it seemed that they were understaffed. While the servers are friendly they wait so long to come and greet you or to take your order. The restaurant was never full but the service was always slow, slow, slow. The Kitchen: they take the cake and the icing. We waited 25 minutes for a Cesar salad! The lava cake desert which looked like it was frozen them microwaved took almost half an hour! All the main courses that we ordered were so slow it seemed to me that they were doing this on purpose! In summary the food is ok, but definitely not worth the wait!

The chef just puts that little extra into every meal he prepares and it comes out great. My favorites here are the butter chicken and the Cornish game hen. For an appetizer, I would recommend going with the French onion soup.

I personally do not like what the Beer Store (aka Brewers Retail) is. What that is exactly is a…read moremultinational conglomerate that enjoys exclusivity when it comes to selling beer in certain quantities namely 12 and 24 packs. Why the LCBO/government of Ontario allows this completely non-Canadian entity to operate as a monopoly/oligopoly is mind boggling and in all likelihood as corrupt as it gets. This particular location at Burnhamthorpe and Saturn really isn't that different from any other Beer Store I've ever been to. They are a buy your product and GTFO kind of setup. You ask for what you want it comes out thrown down a roller chute coming out from behind a wall. Personal touch? LOL, right... perhaps they stereotype what they think is the typical male and think this is how one likes to shop. I only go to The Beer Store for one thing and that's to return bottles and cans for money so I can walk across the parking lot and buy more beer or wine at the LCBO which is the lesser of the two evils when purchasing alcohol in the grand province of Ontario. The LCBO store is like fine dining and The Beer Store is like a food truck. Either way the advantage to buying from the LCBO besides actually getting to speak to people is the fact that it's a store. You can browse the products and see them, touch them and not just read off a menu on the wall. Beer is mostly sold in quantities of six but at the LCBO you can if you wanted to just buy one beer from a 6 pack. Yes, you can break that pack. You buy singles of tallboys and mix and match too. There's more flexibility as opposed to The Beer Store at the LCBO and you are in fact purchasing product directly from the government when you look at it that way. Either way we are going to pay ridiculous amounts of money for beer in Ontario. If you're going to get raked over coals, take the lesser of 2 evils and buy from the government as opposed to lining the pockets of the Molson-Coors, Labatt (Anheuser-Busch InBev) and Sleeman (Sapporo) conglomerate.

A little hard to find, but as it is here in Ontario, in order to fulfill your beer cravings..the Beer Store is the only way to satisfy it. Roughly in the last year, the Beer Store has been going through some major renovations in their service model and their store layouts. This is one of the newer self serve layouts which you pick your product in a refrigerated walk in cooler display floor. I personally like this new layout, rather than the old "order at the counter" and your order is called to the people at the back and its delivered via metal roller track. It give the customer the ease of looking through different beer brands and discovering some new ones. Pretty convenient location as its not directly located in the busier area of Heartland. The service level is pretty standard and the staff can help you find what your looking for. Good location near the heart of Mississauga. 4 Stars..
