I deleted the photo from the Wincott listing LCBO because that is on the north side of Eglinton. This store is on the south side of Eglinton. I created a new listing for this location and reposted the photo on this listing. This building is not brand new but it is new. It's part of the strip mall at Lloyd Manor and Eglinton and has their own parking lot as part of the large strip mall directly across the street from Shell. While this store may look smaller on the inside it's actually a decent size. It looks smaller (to me) because it has a dedicated fridge room for the beer and other drinks that are made to be sold as cold. I could have sworn I saw near the door of the fridge room some 24's on a skid but the LCBO probably doesn't sell them as 24, probably 4 x 6 packs still? It's a valid question considering the whole beer store controversy of 12's and 24's etc. Still it's a relatively good sized store primarily made up of wine aisles, some hard liquor and a dedicated refrigeration room for beer etc. I'm not sure if the store at Wincott is still there... I've never been to that location before if in fact they are keeping it. It's sort of close to this location making it sort of redundant.

We ordered…read morethe Kingsway Beef Sliders and the Brussels Sprouts, and both were the kind of dishes that make a place feel a little more special than the average neighbourhood spot. The sliders were rich, flavorful, and nicely put together, while the Brussels sprouts had that perfect balance of crispness and depth that makes a simple dish stand out. What I liked most is that the menu feels thoughtful without becoming overworked. The food has personality, the plates are easy to share, and the whole meal feels relaxed in a way that still feels put together. It strikes a really nice balance between comfort and creativity, which is not always easy to find. Azarias feels like the kind of place people return to because it gets the details right. A lovely atmosphere, well-executed food, and a meal that feels both casual and a little elevated at the same time.

The flavour of the fried cod taco was amazing but there was very little of the fish and mainly consisted of the fried dough. The Thai lemongrass and coconut broth mussels were pretty good as well. Overall, Azarias was a pleasant dining experience and we're glad we were able to try it!
