Not only that but when I got home with a purchase, the lighting didn't work and when I called to tell them I was just in an hour before was told they "don't do exchanges on holiday items currently." The owner, one of the girls not wearing a mask, did eventually say she would look at it and see what they could do. This was a pretty negative encounter and I think with new ownership will come new problems for this boutique, unfortunately.

I made a purchase here a while back that required me to fill out a form and provide my phone…read morenumber. Then this place decides to get my number off the form and start spamming my text messages with their "specials". Look, I did not give you my number, it was required for the form to make my purchase. I didn't give you permission to use my number in any way, shape, or form and you also didn't ask for permission. I really don't appreciate you taking my phone number off of the form I had to fill out to make a purchase and then use it to spam me. That's NOT why I provided my number and you know it. If you want to send people messages then you need to ASK if it's OK first and get their permission. The way you're doing it makes your business look really bad. If you're going to make a purchase or a pickup that requires filling out a form you might want to consider someplace else that doesn't steal your info for their own purposes. If it wasn't for that it would be a 5 star review but I really don't like having my info stolen and then used to spam me.

My package was never sent out. I've been trying to get a hold of the owner for 5 hours now and she will not respond to me. A few months ago she sold me a defective shirt and she promised me she would remake it. For weeks and weeks she told me she was waiting on the materials to make it and she still never upheld her promise and never made the shirt for me. The shirt I recently ordered is a holiday shirt and because she still has yet to send it out, it will probably not make it here in time for the holiday. I wanted my child to at least wear the shirt twice but now she wont be able to at all. The owner is way over worked and can not keep up with business and because of that the turn around time is insanely stupid. Never ordering from them again.

After purchasing an engagement ring from Louisiana Coin & Jewelry, I was on a tight deadline to get…read moreit resized before proposing. I called around town for quotes. Several places made it difficult -- insisting they had to see the ring first and wouldn't even give a range over the phone. McCary's was different. I described the ring, asked for a quote, and they confidently gave me a range of $25-$75. Simple. Transparent. No runaround. I dropped it off and had it resized in just 2 days. Fast turnaround. No stress. Exactly what I needed. That alone impressed me. A little later, I returned with a different issue -- my gold chain had split at the clasp (crab/clamper). The staff took it to the jeweler in the back, and within five minutes came back and said: "Fixed. No charge." They simply adjusted the clasp back into place and recommended a future repair only if it started to fray. They absolutely could have charged me -- but they didn't. That says a lot. Atmosphere: The store is beautiful. Clean. Elegant. It feels refined without being intimidating. Comfortable, professional environment. Customer Service: Efficient. Straightforward. Helpful. Not pushy. In an industry where pricing can feel inflated and service can feel sales-driven, McCary's stood out by being honest, fair, and timely.
