You know, there just are few things more relaxing than putting paint on your nails and sticking your hands in small UV lamp ovens! All of my greatest joy, thanks to Melanie Woodard. One of the most wonderful and kind people I have ever met. Not to mention, by far the best nail artist. She is booked weeks in advance, and that is for a reason! The quality of the products she uses is the best you can get, the shop is ultra clean, and the cost could not be more affordable! Samantha Owens, who is the lash artist at Talk Of The Town, is the best of the best. She offers premium lash extensions (curled and straight) and charges $60 for fill-ins. I believe the initial cost for the first set is $110.00, but I will update if incorrect. These extensions last on myself for 4 weeks! Impressive, but quality and proper technique go a long way! Talk Of The Town also offers hair cutting and coloring services, waxing, facials, pedicures, skin rejuvenation among many other services. If you live in Polk County, give the salon a call for your next appointment! I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised! Five stars for consistent high quality service, cleanliness, incredible customer service and atmosphere.

Not to mention everybody that works there is incredibly friendly. Nothing but happiness, laughs and smiles as soon as you walk in! A little bonus they always play the best music and have the coolest selection of soaps ever! Hands-down the best salon I've ever and probably will ever find!

The service is normally great but a few times now the technician was not ready for my scheduled appointment leaving me to either leave or rearrange my other appointments. I am someone that is in an appointment driven field and I find it truly disappointing when no one gives a courtesy call to you a heads up on a possible delay or to reschedule. There are too many other places that will provide the same services.

AMAZING! Its hard…read moreto find a manicurist that delivers consistency and precision, along with a friendly personality! Look no further Lydia is just that. If you are looking for one of the best for acrylics look no further, you will not go wrong with Lydia. Services: on my visit I had a full set with gel polish and her attention to detail is amazing. She makes sure she gets every little detail down pact. She is precise. In all my experiences with different manicurist I have honestly never seen someone like Lydia that takes her time and triple checks to make sure she's done her work perfectly! Cost: the cost is average to what acrylics cost. I know that during these times due to COVID19, it has been scary getting out to try and normalize ourselves. I have to say Lydia, will make you feel comfortable. She has her face shield on and her mask for added protection and she sanitizes the area before you sit in her chair. I had to write this review because as I stated earlier I have been to many different manicurist and in Miami there is a abundance of them and this is why im here today because Lydia is at the top of her pack with her work. I suggest if your looking for quality and precision.. of course awesome looking nails call and make a appointment you will not be disappointed!! A+

Every request was met with a no, or a we don't do that here, or an argument. She was confident about what needed to be done and she did it. I had many consultations with other salons. Jennifer was the only one who knew exactly how to fix my mess. My hair had not been colored for six months. So I had faded orange hair on the bottom and grown out gray and brown on top. She gave me a nice ash blonde with highlights. It sounds easy but believe me you must know what you're doing to get these results. I had one hairdresser tell me you have to bleach all your hair. Another one told me you have to go darker all over. My goal was a pretty color closer to my gray so I don't have to get it done as much. I had a major demarcation line that is not there at all anymore. This girl is the bomb!!!!

She also didn't have a nail swatch for me to pick out a color and we had to look in a drawer open up the bottle and I had to guesstimate what the final would look like. Looking at my nails there is irritated skin around the nail. Her station was dirty and did not look sterile or hygienic. She was not prepared at all. It was rated a 5.0. Maybe a 3 on a very good day.
