We called Anthony at LAX Equipment after reaching out to other companies for a Mini Bobcat S70 to move pea gravel on our driveway. We needed to rent that morning and have it delievered and picked up the same day as well for a wedding/reception emergency. Anthony not only was able to get the Bobcat equipment to us much earlier than expected but the driver was kind enough to wait while the pea gravel was moved over to the side of the driveway. Twenty-five minutes later our driveway was all clear and Alex our driver then took the Bobcat back. Kudos to Anthony and his company for being our heroes of the the day. read more

Spoke with Tony at 7:30 am and I Said I was on my way and by 7:50 received a text if it was not back by 8:00 I would be charged for another full day. I returned it at 7:56 lol. Next time I will rent from quality equipment rentals. read more

Have never rented a boom lift before and this was the first time as the job called for one. Gus made it incredibly easy, gave the best price by far and had it arrive earlier than scheduled, time-wise. Will not even shop around the next time we need some sort of heavy equipment for jobs. I have been renting from this place for a while, everything was good until i have come across this imbecile who claims to be the manager.His name is Sal if he did not lie about that ,he's very rude and disrespectful towards his customers especially if u don t want to rent the equipment he wants u to get not what u need. Also he keeps pushing the issue of you as a customer being responsible for batteries being stolen from the start which i found very unusual unless he's in on it. I lost a full week waiting for this lazy person to get me the equipment i needed and in the end he hung up on me when i called his bluff Avoid this individual at all times as he is known to be a jerk.It is not fair for employees like Gus and Casey who are very professional and easy to work with in that environment. read more

I was in need of a genie lift and bobcat for some light construction on my house. I was recommended to Lax Equipment by a friend and decided to check it out. They were very knowledgeable about my needs and didn't try sell me anything I didn't need. Humberto Gutierrez claims to be manager, but he cannot fill out a contract with correct spelling. And if you get impatient with his mistakes he will not rent to you.....I have been using this place since 1987....too bad it is being run by a bunch of irresponsible kids. I wasted an hour talking to this guy, who sent 3 contracts in error, then admitted he did not have the equipment. He then told me where he was getting the equipment and it turns out he had mis quoted the price by - $10.00......time to hire some new people. read more
