They found pretty much everything was perfect (other than a mistake I had made!) I saw another review about the openly Christian atmosphere. If anything, even if you aren't religious, it should give you some confidence that they will be honest because they believe they answer to Someone higher than the government. We will probably go to Martin's as long as they are still running this business.

I've been having my taxes done by them for almost 20 years, they are quick, efficient and have…read morealways answered any questions I've had thoroughly. It is a very simple process, I make an appointment every year, bring in my documents, they do their thing and I'm out of there in about 30 to 60 minutes (I have a child in college, so many more questions in recent years) with state and federal electronically filed and local ready to be mailed in. This year with covid, they have quickly implemented other options of getting your documents to them. I saw someone criticized their religious nature, however in the 20 years I've been going there, they have been nothing but extremely professional and honest in their work. I am not religious but also not offended easily as I do believe each to their own, they do my taxes, they do an outstanding job, that is why I go there.

I worked with Advanced Accounting and Tax Solutions for nearly four years in formlong my LLC,…read morefiling both my personal and business taxes, and handling payroll. For tax year 2025, all documents were submitted and a written agreement was signed for this firm in February to complete my taxes. Tax day passed and there was zero communication on the status of my taxes. Calls, texts and emails were ignored or pushed aside before this firm stopped responding altogether. I had to contact the IRS to confirm that this firm failed to file my taxes. To this day no apology or explanation has been given. Do not trust this business to handle your taxes.

My dad has a loan with this bank. He recently went into hospice care, and I called them to explain…read morethat he would be a couple of months behind while I arranged for his home care and insurance. I informed them that I would catch up on his payments by next month. They told me that they would not wait for one month and were going to pursue foreclosure immediately. My father is 89, bedridden, and they would rather evict him than give him one more month to catch up on his two payments. This bank lacks humanity, and while they claim to want to help, the only assistance they offer is to give you one week to make the payments. They will not notify you of the consequences of being even one month behind. Moreover, they will completely ignore your calls and emails while you attempt to make the payment. Their only intention is to foreclose on people's homes. Stay away from this bank at all costs or risk losing your home.

I kept Univest for eight months after I moved to California. Period…read more It takes a lot of faith to trust a bank whose nearest branch/location is a six hour plane ride away, but was worth it. Real people (real Pennsylvanians) answer the phones and their employees admit when they don't have an immediate answer. Fees are kept at a minimum AND my checking account bore some modest -really modest- monthly interest. I hope that this community bank continues to grow and perhaps fill the rather present viod that was left when Washington Mutual was gobbled up. I've banked with Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citi, Chase, and ING (and WaMu, boo-hoo). Univest is at the top of the heap, and they right banking culture. I would highly recommend Univest to folks on either coast or somewhere in between.

I am typing this review as a warning to other potential customers of this business. Our family was…read morerecently referred to Bottom Line Tax Service by our previous Tax Preparer who was retiring. We made our appointment and everything seemed to be fine. We arrived for our scheduled appointment, discussed our tax information and I asked the preparer what her rates were. Her reply to us was "Well, that all depends on how long your taxes take to prepare". I stated that we needed to have some kind of idea so we know what to expect. Her reply to us was "what did your last preparer charge you?" We begrudgingly gave her that information and she stated that it wouldn't be as high as your previous preparer. Still not having a solid rate we decided to not push the issue any further since she already had all of our info. A few weeks later we returned to pick up our paperwork and make payment. We were told it would be $445.00 for my wife and I and $165.00 for my 17 year old son. $610.00 for 3 people with minimal tax preparation needed. I had checked with a few other Tax services prior to this second appointment and all quoted me around $250.00 for 3 of us due to our minimal preparation. I advised Bottom Line Tax Service that this price was absolutely ridiculously high and that I was not happy with this number. She then asked us what we thought the number should be and we advised her of the aforementioned info from other preparers in the area. I asked her why the number was so high and Bottom Line Tax Service advised me "I have to charge a certain amount to pay for the customer acquisition from your previous preparer." She made the adjustment to $250.00 for mine and my wife's and kept my son's at $165.00. We have yet to receive our tax return! We E Filed! It has been two months since our first appointment. We called to see what the problem was and Bottom Line Tax Service Claims she "mistakenly omitted" the last digit of our bank routing number. I contacted my previous preparer and he stated to me that another of his previous customers has complained about the same issue. Bottom Line Tax Service could not even tell me what my next steps were to get this resolved. Please be aware of this business. If you chose to use them anyway, insist on a quote before using their service.
