AMAZING Service & Product!!!…read more We used CBL carpets to install carpet at a house that we were getting ready to sell. I was looking for inexpensive carpet to be installed quickly and had been to both Home Depot and Lowes. I was SO frustrated by the lack of knowledge of the store employees and stressed about having to make an appointment with a 3rd party, potentially get an asbestos test and not fully knowing WHEN everything would be completed. I mentioned my situation while at a luncheon and 2 separate neighbors suggested I call CBL. Boy am I glad I did!! Not only did CBL have a much better quality and color selection of quick install carpet but Frank, one of the owners, came out to measure and provided a quote. The quote was very similar in price to the big box stores. Carpets were installed by a super detail oriented team within 5 days of my original call. Everything was perfect! Then the rains and warmer weather came and the basement flooded 3 days after our carpet was installed. Frank and his team went way beyond anything I could have imagined and offered to come and pick up the carpet and bring it to their warehouse to dry out. The team is now ready to reinstall when we are sure basement is dry. I will forever be a CBL customer and will continue to share my awesome experience with anyone who will hear me. This is the kind of personal service one can only dream of these days. Thank you CBL!!!!

They are very professional and knowledgable about flooring. I made at least 5 trips into the store for color selection and sample check outs. They came out to my home to help me finalize my selections. They even offered help with wall colors too. I think the pricing is fair comparing CBL to the larger big box stores. The main difference is that this is a family owned business and it is clear that their customers come first. I would not hesitate to use them again. I am now in the process of looking at their selections of blinds from Hunter Douglas. I highly recommend this company.

I was unavailable to take his call and we had arranged work schedules to accommodate the estimate. He called back 20 minutes before the appointment and said he was having sudden back issues and wanted to reschedule if possible. To be fair, read this whole review. There is some good here. Met them at a home show, liked what…read moreI heard. The planning process was great, their design talent is excellent. Their subcontractors/installers were sloppy, causing areas damage in my home (part-time residence). The punch list grew and grew. Table top damaged, TV stand very scratched, new dishwasher dent on front. They fixed what they could and I got (small) credit for what they couldn't. I was out for surgery and to be fair, I know there were two emails and at least two phone calls that were not returned to them (I was in a ton of pain). 2 weeks after they "supposedly" finished the job, they indicated there were turning the remaining (small) balance over to collections. We had not even inspected. So hire an attorney. We got back to the unit to find the countertop on the floor (it "popped" off), so much for finished? The kitchen faucet quit working (we replaced it). They did finally get the work finished. In the meantime the state of MN and the city of Minneapolis told me I had big problems - there were no building permits. Turns out the permits were applied for in the wrong name and address. Keep in mind that there is still a lien that was filed against me. DBC got this corrected. We finally settled on a fair final payment, but they refused to honor the $1000 off coupon we received at the home show. The coupon was for a complete bathroom remodel; we did that plus the kitchen.

I love how it looks and how it flows seamlessly from the Living Room/Dining Room space to the Kitchen and even in to the small bathroom. I have been walking on the floors barefoot since they were installed. The installer did a good job on the thresholds. Both the kind that lead to an outside door and the difference in the color of the plank into the bathroom space. The Owner Tina was great to work with. And nobody would even commit to that until I talked to Twin City Shelves, where Shaun was very upfront and gave me an "estimate" that turned out to be exactly the price. He does beautiful work and does it when he says he will. I was so delighted with the end result that I called Shaun again because I wanted to give my sister the same great shelves for her birthday.
