Got a reply on Friday telling me that they would be here on Friday. Didn't know if it would be morning or afternoon, and then I was very rudely informed that they had 280 clients and 3 machines, and that they weren't going to mow 10 yd a day. As if this had anything to do with anything, I guess they have either too many clients or they need to buy more machines. I don't know. So I said, I wanted to know so that I could be here because I don't allow people on my property when I'm not here generally, whenever I've had that happen, things have disappeared. And they were very animate about the fact that that I did not need to be here that it was fine if I wasn't here to the point that it made me uncomfortable. And and then they said, oh, we'll send you pictures why I would need pictures, I have no idea because I live. Here. So that kind of made me uncomfortable. The fact that they really seemed to wanted me off the property when they were here. Well, of course, Friday comes and goes no one shows app again, no 1 replies on Friday when I text them again, so I find someone to come out Saturday and the only time I even got a reply from them was after I informed. Them not to come out on Saturday as if they were planning to, because I'd already found somebody that would come out and do the job. So the the guy was like, well, we just can't come out. And do you we put you on a route blah blah blah? But at no point in time was any of that explained to me, I wasn't told I was being put on a route, I was told that they would be out Thursday and Friday, I gave them one day's grace because of the rain, they told me that they would be there Friday, but they didn't know what time then they didn't show up. They were very rude. It is easy to comment about great service when things are going well. But, I want to share what…read morehappened when things did not go as planned. One of G&G's mowers got too close to my pool pump and it needed to be repaired. Almost immediately Tony was at my door with a repairman. I was assured I would be happy with the repair. I was sceptical but gave them the benefit of the doubt. The next day the repairman was on site and effecting the repairs. In no time my pool was circulating again. Tony again stopped by to check on the repair and he was not fully satisfied with one minor aspect of the repair. So again I was impressed about his fore thought and insight to my needs. From accident to repair less than a day went by and I could not be happier. Again it is easy to speak of a company when things are going good but sometimes it is more important to hear about what happens when things do not go as planned. Once installed, they gave me a sheet of paper with maintenance instructions and left. 14 months later, that grass is all dead (although the rest of my lawn and all of my neighbors' lawns show no signs of trouble) despite it having been irrigated and fertilized throughout the year and during the recent drought. I called G&G and they recommended I call a different company to see why the grass died because they don't handle such matters, after observing that last year they used sod from a distributor they had decided didn't provide quality product. I've had 2 other lawn services come look at the lawn and they said there was scant evidence of chinch bugs. I feel like I've spent good money after poor advice and a poor product-either the choice to use St. Augustine or this company's sod, or both.
