We checked Yelp and called a number of places but decided on Pedro's Lawn Service because he did the most work and has done many quality jobs in Palmetto. Plus, Pedro and his son are really nice people. We had them do the lawn, flower beds, palm trees, bushes and shrubbery around the house. They have a great quote and got started right on time. The shrubs surrounding the house had grown tall but did not fill in completely so they cut them and will take care to get them filled in nicely. The lawn has some weeds and they are working to remove the weeds and get the grass to grow in thicker. It really looked like a jungle before but now looks manicured and, I know, will get even better over time. I definitely recommend Pedro's Lawn Service and have them scheduled to come back weekly or every two weeks, as needed. I really can't thank them enough for the hard work they did to take the jungle!

Finally. I finally found someone that knows what they are…read moredoing in the yard. After 6 years and 3 landscaper nightmares, I'm done. I have asked landscapers in the past to put down mulch, most of the time I wind up doing it myself. I ask that they trim occasionally. Again, I usually do it myself. I understand that they have to move quickly to survive but I do get tired of the "blow and go" every week. We go north in the summer so it's hard to know if someone is doing a good job in the yard or not. Fortunately, I have wonderful neighbors who will call me and tell me if my yard starts looking bad. It's important that the house looks like it is being taken care and occupied when we are not there. I came back this year, the lawn was mowed but the trees and bushes had not been trimmed since we left. I asked the landscaper about it and he told me that he was able to trim the Pygmy Palm in the back. Really. Four months and you were able to trim one whole palm. Thanks for nothing. That was it for him. My neighbor and I were talking a few days later and I asked him who did his lawn because it always looks good. He told me his person was coming that afternoon and did I want to talk to him. I said yes thankfully. Hilario presents himself very professionally. We walked around the yard and I told him my concerns in the yard. Told him about my poor experiences in the past with landscapers. He understood. He gave me a price and I hired him.. He did a cleanup first. Six people for 6 hours. He filled a 18 foot truck with debris and trimmings. His people are well trained and know what they are doing. They needed little or no supervision from Hilario. It was a pleasure to watch. No mistake, no hesitation, just productive work. It looks like a different yard with all that gone. I asked Hilario to put down mulch when he had time. The next week, he put down 160 bags. No waiting. No wondering when it will be done. And,It looks fantastic. Looks like a different yard. I am actually proud of how my yard looks now. All due to Hilario and his men. I recommend him highly.
