Brought them out again yesterday to trim a medium sized oak tree and a very large oak in the front yard. Again, they did a great job ! Both trees look much better now. As a licensed arborist, they know how to climb and cut properly without chopping off the top. Now air and light flow thru the tree, no branches hanging over the driveway and neighbors property. No more HOA complaints ! And again for a fair price.

BEWARE! We hired Rick to plant 2 Sylvester Palm trees of…read moreequal height 10' for which we were charged per foot of trunk, one avocado, one mango, several snake plans and several large blue agaves plus new sod etc, aprox a 7k job. One of the Sylvesters is perfectly fine to date but the second one died almost immediately. Rick came and replaced it with one half its size which wasn't acceptable and regardless it died too within a couple of weeks. Of course we watered them as instructed, the 1st palm tree is still in place, and we documented the second ones death sort of speak. Per Rick, he was sold two sick trees by his supplier. Rick acknowledged that the replaced tree was half the size we paid for and agreed to replace writing "you have my word I will replace the tree". After multiple promises both over the telephone and in writing and several months later he still hasn't replaced it (as of 6-14-19). We removed the dead palm tree and realize they digged what seems to me to be a shallow hole full of rocks no topsoil. The avocado and mango tree as well as the snake plants which are known to be very hardy are not doing well, also very shallow holes and no top soil. I'm not sure what happened because Rick works with his father and they seemed like good honest people but they definitely failed us so if this can help someone else great. We do have everything well documented and intend to file a formal complaint at myfloridalicense .com as well as let others know how they operate.

I told them what our budget was per our Board of Directors & Andre the owner told us his bid would come in much higher. I then got a call from Andre's wife to ignore what Andre said & that they could do it for the price budgeted. We had an agreement on price & how often they'd be here. Suddenly 3 weeks ago they stopped coming, in the height of growing season. When I would call, I was tole they'd be here the next week, the next day & so forth. Then I was told they'd merged with IB At Your Lawncare & that they'd be out the next day. It is now 3 weeks later & I FINALLY got Andre to return my call. He said he wasn't coming back & that our park was too much work for him. I asked if out of decency he would mow for 1 more month until our park could find a new service. His answer was no. So we are now sitting with 100 lots unmowed & zero notice that he was quitting. He clearly doesn't care about customer service, satisfaction or even decency in running a business. Stay AWAY! I am sad to write this unfortunate review on a local business, but I have to share my experiences…read moreover the past 10 months with Alain and his business. Overall: He has good prices, but lost my trust as he failed to show up and took advantage of my not being in the same city as the property I asked for lawn maintenance. I sincerely hope he will learn to do better even though he didn't do right by me. *First impression* As you can read from my first review, I was really impressed with my first experience with him. He asked for a review immediately for the other company name EZ Yards, but said he had some issue with Yelp account. He responded timely and did the job amazingly. I requested lawn maintenance (hedges and mow the lawn) every two months (he insisted on monthly - I obliged bc it's small business) on my parents' property in a different city than where I live. I needed a business I could trust that would do the job and do it well. My parents are getting older and Alain seemed to understand the importance of family. And I've been taken for a ride! *The long game* I was very impressed the second time he came when I wasn't in the city because this time before asking for payment he sent pictures. *Red flags I should've noticed* - He insisted monthly maintenance, but instead came when he could. - I would receive text messages saying he was going to the property thinking he would show up only for another one to come the next week saying he was definitely going. - He never sent pictures to prove the maintenance was done, but again I thought I could trust him. *Chances Upon Chances* One of his services said he could cut tree branches. So I asked if he could trim some branches. I sent him pictures of the tree I wanted cut. He said that if he hauled them away it would be extra so it would be cheaper to leave it for the city to pick up. I told him where the city would pick up and even sent him a picture. I came to check on the property to find the tree was poorly cut and the branches left in the wrong spot. I didn't mind the tree, but told him he placed the branches in the wrong area. He said he would show up that day to move them. Then, he said he would show up the next day. He never showed. Instead, I had to move the branches myself with my older mother in the rain to avoid a citation from the city. Despite this I wanted to give him another chance, he shared with me that he had something come up with his family. He wasn't specific, but I decided to give him another chance bc of how much I love and care for my family. *The Last Experience* End of April 2021/Beginning of May 2021: I asked if he could go to the property and cut the lawn and hedges (regular lawn maintenance) bc we got a citation from the city. He said he would get to our property but it's taking him time bc he landed a big contract. Regardless, he said he cut it and asked me for $60 I came to visit my parents for Mother's Day weekend just to find that the bushes were not cut and the edges where the grass meets cement or the house were over a foot tall. I sent him pictures and circled the areas. He didn't respond. I had to text him again asked for an explanation. His response exactly: "My. Weed whacked broke on the spot." I asked about the hedges and he never responded. I don't understand why ask for money when you didn't do the job bc your machine broke? Why not tell me? My only guess is bc he knew I dont live in the same city and can only visit when I can. He never apologized nor did he say I'll come back and do it. He never offered to refund my money. I thought that he wouldn't want to lose consistent business so I was hoping he would apologize but here we are in the middle of June and I haven't heard a thing. We live in a time where trust is easily broken. It's hard to find people and business to trust. I trusted this man. I truly did, and I feel nothing short but taken advantage of. *Why then am I giving him two stars instead of one?* Bc I know deep down he is a good man. I think if you live on the property and can see the job he does immediately; He won't take advantage of you. *Use my review as a notice of caution* I want his business to succeed and maybe it's growing at an exponential rate that he can't keep up. He would rather choose businesses that offer more money than a residential home that's essentially lowering hanging fruit. Perhaps, if you go into business with him you too might want a contract. I've learned my lesson. I hope he will do better. I wish him the best, and I will fight for my money refunded from the bank.

I paid them in full and even gave extra tip. Once I came home I noticed that the roots are not out, I reached out and no answer, I reached out few more times and sent the video showing that the job wasn't completed with no answer. Sad part is that I would have given them more projects if only they stood behind what was promised.

The team communicated they would be late and came out today to assess the area even when it was raining (two others rescheduled or didn't show up). I had two companies with good reviews come out yesterday to quote a price and they were pretty shady - they offered a price and when I told them I'm getting more quotes, they offered almost half the originally quoted price right away. One guy even insisted it would cost $250 to move the rocks. Rain offered an honest price from the start. We also asked to relocate a pony tail palm and he added that on for not too much more. With a little negotiation we said okay. Him and his team got the job done right away, same day. It was still drizzling/raining while they were working. They double check with us on the new location of the palm before replanting and raked up the leaves and left the area clean. Would definitely recommend the services here.
