I found Mr. Blauvelt on a website and searched for his reviews on almost every other lawyer website they were. They were all good ratings. I contacted him on a sunday afternoon expecting to leave a voice message, surprisingly i got an answer. Talk about 24/7 service. In less than 2 Hours i had sent him copies of the tickets and he told what he could do along with the charges. This is a gentleman with experience and know directly what your chances are. I went from 22 points, possible suspended privileges to drive in New Jersey and over $1700.00 in just fines to having only 4 points 4 tickets dropped and a $500 fine. If this lawyer isn't heaven sent I don't know who is. He got the work done quickly and for a good price.

Unfortunately I was very unsatisfied with the performance of Todd Mayo. Of course if I had made better choices in the moment I would not have needed his aid. However, after gleefully swiping my card for $1250 I was assured to be in constant contact with Mr Mayo with any updates regarding my case. This did not happen. Fast forward to the date of my court appearance, I had called Mr Mayo on my way to the courthouse in order to hopefully get more information on what my possible outcomes may be. To my surprise he says "court has been canceled this morning". Now this did not feel right to me so I call the courthouse to confirm. Thankfully I did because the information my lawyer was feeding me was inaccurate. So now my name is being called and my lawyer is over an hour late. Thankfully the judge was feeling generous and pushed my name to the back. As he arrives smile wide on his face, brushes right past me without a word and speaks to the prosecutor. Not before smacking what I would guess another lawyer buddy on the butt as in a good game gesture. Never have I seen such unprofessionalism in a courthouse. After speaking to the prosecutor setting up a plea deal without my presence he comes to me and lays it all out. Plea guilty to three charges that were fabricated to begin with and pay roughly $900 in fines. Unfortunately in the moment I was so distraught by how this whole morning had gone, I agreed. To add insult to injury he then paraded me up to the judge with a false sob story saying I was fired from my job and was in a bad place mentally. I guess in hopes to be more lenient on my payment plan. I was supposed to have ample time with Mr Mayo to discuss my options and prepare myself for any outcome. This was not the case. Mr Mayo was very quick to grab his belongings and head towards his car after the scam he had pulled on me. Hopefully I wasn't too much of an inconvenience to him and his other clients that day. After all is said and done I have now payed over $2000.00 for a plea I would have never taken if under the correct guidance of a lawyer. I was made to look like a fool in a courtroom full of people with my lawyer leading the charge. I urge anyone reading this to seek representation elsewhere.
