We started of we breas offering ( the bread in Poland is simply the best). We each have soup, beet and asparagus. We both could have eaten another bowl, it was that good. For our entrees we had veal cutlet and chicken cutlet. Both were very tasty. Meats were tender and not oily. We had the chocolate cheesecake for dessert. The value, coming from CA where the price if dinner could cost you $120 pp. our bill was $110 for two in a very nice restaurant next to the opera house. If you are in Warsaw this is a must.

I do think the decor is nice for a evening meal. I think the individual tables are nice I think it may just be a little dark. Simple, ok taste, functional. In the main dinning room they probably have 10-12 tables of 2-4 people. Additionally they have a private room for events who can probably accommodate around 20-25 people. The service is good, but do not expect white globe. Our waitress was very young and did not knew the menu. Nevertheless he was attentive and willing to help. The older guys were knowledgeable but slightly arrogant. We have a questions regarding wine and he raised his voice to answer that it was what they offered. Not what you expect from a quality restaurant. Food was exquisite. We had fresh salad with goat cheese for starter, followed by steam sea bass for me and a steak for my husband. Both were excellent, cooked to perfection and juicy. Nothing from the dessert menu grabbed our attention so we skipped it. Food prices are reasonable considering the quality. Nevertheless beverage prices are quite exaggerated. A glass of very average wine was ~40zl per glass and 200zl per bottle. Quite above market average and nothing special. They do have very good quality wine, do expect to pay +4-5x its value. Overall, I would recommend if you want to enjoy excellent food and ok service.

The waitress was respectful but did not apologize nor explain the reason behind the delay. We asked and she said "oh yeah... Your food is waiting in the kitchen" ... really? In general, if you have 2-3 hrs to spare and you want quality food you can give it a try. If you are too hungry do not dare. Na chwilę obecną nie ma jeszcze licencji, ale kieliszek wina stołowego jest do zdobycia;-). Zamówiłyśmy z koleżanką 2 przystawkowe jedzenia - grzanki z foie gras oraz pieczone warzywa z kozim serem. Na poczekanie dostałyśmy pieczywo z oliwą. Jedzenie jest smaczne, ciekawe, bezpretensjonalne, na deser mój ulubiony creme brule, który zdecydowanie wybija się ponad warszawską średnią, a do tego 2 kieliszki nieoficjalnego wina;). It has 2 floors but is cosy and warm inside. As soon as you enter it you will smell and feel like you are in French bistro. On the day of our visit it was not possible to pay with card but this will be solved soon and btw they were ok with us going to ATM to pay only after we ate and ATM is just 1 minute away. They still cannot sell alcohol but we were offered glass of house white wine . WE got 2 starters - toasts with foie gras and baked vegetables with goat cheese. For waiting time we got bread and olive oil. Food was tasty, simple but full of flavor and really as it should be or even better;-). I got crème brule as my favorite dessert and this was above Warsaw average. It was really good value for money as for these 2 starters, crème brule and 2 glasses of wine we paid 59pln. Menu so far is written on the blackboard without printed copies, but the waitress was really helpful with making our decision. She was also really caring - not too neglecting but also not asking too many questions and coming too many times to check how we are;-). There is a table outside which looks like from fairy tale in this winter surrounding, but it is also a promise of nice atmosphere in summer - sounds like there is a really good new place on warsaw informal dining map :) . 4 stars cause I didn't check main menu
