Before flying in I researched the place and decided on it. Unfortunately our flight was delay over 4h and I thought we won't make if before they close. But we did! Ladies accommodated us with smiles on their faces and food was simply divine! Maybe for a regular Polish people it is nothing special because they eat it often, but for someone who is coming from US once a year and can appreciate authenticity of Polish kitchen, it was really, really tasty :). Also a beautiful, relaxing location and great prices! I recommend it!

What I ended up getting the best whiskey sour that I've ever had. Then the top it. I asked for a bacon & egg hamburger! I hate to say it, but this burger was better than most of every burger that I've had in America! Th ambience was Is fantastic! Everybody was very polite with me and I'm off to having my dessert. The meat was juicy and delicious with just enogh fast to compliment the general taste.Extras to the steak were amazing. The mashed potatoes with truffles :) perfectly complemented the meat. A sweet- sour whiskey based jar :) if you ask for a double one you just pay a bit more which is a nice gesture towards the clietns. And the bartender changes the "jar" if you ask for it. No problems :) We had some problems with reservation as it sometimes happens in popular places but the staff managed the situation perfectly and we couldn't ask for a better waitress. We had to walk by Soplicowo to get to the Italian place and the smells coming from the kitchen wouldn't allow us to go any further so we gave up on Italian and opted for Polish. The place was busy but we were seated right away at a nice cozy table for two. We started our Soplicowo experience with a couple of shot of cherry vodka, served in icy glasses as it should be. I ordered a bowl of beetroot soup which was very tasty, the star of the soup were the dumplings, they were filled with wonderfully seasoned meat and were amazing! My wife's goat cheese salad was fresh and had a good amount of cheese with a nice dressing. With our first course we were offered a complimentary plate with bread and some kind of lard spread, I'm not sure what it is called but it had a great smokey flavor and bits of meat that may have been pork, with this came pickles and some kind of seasoned sour cream spread. A bottle of red wine was ordered to accompany our mains, I had the wild boar, very nice flavors not at all gamey, perfectly cooked in a nice rich sauce. My wife had the mushroom stuffed chicken which was cooked to a wonderful crisp on the outside but remained moist and yummy inside and filled with mushrooms with dumplings of some kind on the side. We also had a plate of the ruskie dumplings, we were stuffed at this point but managed to finish these wonderful little pockets of yumminess! After such a delicious meal we couldn't say no to desert so we split an order of apple pie with vanilla sauce, an exceptional desert to finish an exceptional dining experience!
