After five months, we had no discernible work product or court motions initiated. Even after many months, they were not sufficiently familiar with our cases despite numerous conversations and providing well organized documentation. They seem to be honest and only billed 1-3 hours per week though. But if you need aggressive, proactive, and creative attorneys...go elsewhere!!! We recently retained another DC based law firm at nearly twice their hourly rate. Hopefully they'll advance our cases. And despite the accolades for the firm's lawyer "Jonathan" here, I literally don't think he said more than a dozen words on roughly 5-6 conference calls. He also never queried us via email nor did he draft any motions or letters. We still don't know what he did.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism I have experienced…read morewith this law firm. My accident happened in April, and here we are in October, six months later, with very little communication or clarity regarding my case. During this time, I have been assigned three different case managers and two different attorneys. The constant turnover alone has been frustrating, but what makes it worse is the complete lack of follow-through and communication. I have repeatedly been told that my attorney would contact me, yet I am still waiting for a phone call. I should not have to continuously reach out just to receive basic updates about my own case. On top of everything, I have suffered significant financial losses due to property damage from this accident, and I still have questions about my legal options that have gone unanswered. I understand that legal cases take time, but there is absolutely no excuse for leaving clients in the dark for months. When someone hires an attorney, they expect communication, professionalism, and some level of reassurance that their case is being handled appropriately- 6 months, 3 case managers, 2 attorneys, and still no clear answers. That is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

Eric Benavides is an efficient attorney, well respected in the courts who gets things done. I'm so…read moregrateful to him for all of his help with my case. Initially, I had a different attorney that was recommended to me by a family member. So I started this process blindly with my first choice but after nine months of no progress on my case, I started to look elsewhere. Google comes into the picture, because I ran a google search on the DWI program that my first attorney was hesitant to tell me about and Eric's was in the top 3 in my google search but I really liked his informative website. That was more information on one click that my other attorney never fully explained to me. Then, I called to make an appointment with Mr. Benavides and with a quick five minute phone conversation, I had more information on how to move forward since this whole thing started. At the end of our phone call, I told him I would think about changing over to him but the truth is I pretty much knew right away that this was the best choice for me and my case, I just had to work out how to make the change. So I let go of my other attorney and reluctantly received a fifty percent refund though I could have asked for more and I never looked back. In less than a month (the courts do move slow especially during Covid), Mr. Benavides had my case moving along towards a dismissal. And even though he didn't work on my case from the beginning, I'm grateful to him and his expertise for when he jumped in to help me it made all the difference in the world! My case is now dismissed and I can now move forward with my life. As I stated before, I'm very grateful and glad that I decided to hire Mr. Benavides to help me and my case and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

My girlfriend contacted Mr. Benavides seeking help on what we could do to get me out. Eric was VERY sympathetic and helpful. He immediately picked up the case even before the first payment and got to work. I was in there for close to a week before Mr. Benavides was contacted. After contact I was out the following day. Eric has been extremely helpful throughout this whole ordeal, every phone call I send his way will be answered or returned immediately. Mr. Benavides got to work and was able to get me approved for pretrial for ALL three cases, something he has said only seen once before in the past 13 years. Pretrial is essentially like probation except without a guilty plea, meaning after the supervision period all three cases would be dismissed and up for expungement to be erased off my record. I can sleep at night knowing things are going to get better and this one mistake wont affect me for the rest of my life. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!
