Mình đã bị cáo buộc là làm hồ sơ giả , hôn nhân không dựa trên tình cảm thật sự , nên lúc nào cũng bị từ chối đến cuộc hôn nhân thứ 3, khi mình gặp được người chồng hiện tại là người Mỹ trắng, mình được qua đến Mỹ theo diện hôn phu hôn thê k1, nhưng đến khi mình xin đổi qua thẻ xanh thì một lần nữa bị từ chối bởi vì nhân viên di trú Hoa Kỳ cáo buộc background của mình không đủ điều kiện để trở thành thường trú dân do mình đã từng làm hon nhân giả, sau khi phỏng vấn xin thẻ xanh tại Mỹ nhân viên di trú đã từ chối và cho mình thời gian 33 ngày để rời khỏi nước Mỹ. Lúc đó vợ chồng mình thực sự rất hoang mang sợ hãi lo lắng không biết phải làm gì. Thật ra sai lầm lớn nhất của mình là từ hôn nhân đầu tiên cho đến hôn nhân lần thứ ba chưa bao giờ mình thuê luật sư để hỗ trợ hồ sơ của mình , toàn là tự Ý hai vợ chồng điền đơn và làm mọi giấy tờ. Chính vì vậy mới gặp bao nhiêu là rắc rối và thất bại! I went here for a consultation after receiving a denial letter about my husband's case. They had drinks & snacks in a basket in the front with a CashApp link, it looked tacky & cheap. Those were my first impressions of the office. My experience with the front staff was good, they were nice. The lawyer seemed nice & my husband wanted to give her a retainer immediately but I said we should discuss it. Glad I did because almost everything the lawyer said was a lie, said we couldn't just reapply for the I-485 that we originally got a denial for that we HAD to respond to the denial letters listed reasoning. After further investigation, that was a lie. You can respond to the denial via I-290B form to file an appeal, a motion to reconsider or motion to reopen. Which is currently $675 & she wanted to charge us $5000 for. BUT you can also just refile an I-485 without "responding" with the I-290B like she said. She said that the joint sponsors income was tied up with the other 2 people they had signed for visas, after further investigation, that was a lie. The I-864 affidavit of support form clearly asks about other sponsored immigrants who are now lawful residents, the visa holders are not residents (tourism visa), but she would have known that if she would have asked more questions rather than jumping straight for retainer money. Then she said she couldn't take our case aka our retainer money any later than that week because that wouldn't give her enough time to work on the case & would put us responding past the 30 days. We had over 25 days left to take action on the case, mind you i had personally done all the immigration paperwork up until then & clearly messed up the I-864 originally, but I went through the I-864 & I-290B & all supporting documents with a fine tooth comb in a week and half. She just wanted the $5000 that day, it had nothing to do with timeframes. People already struggle to trust attorneys, & when they demand money now and lie to try to get it just confirms people's suspicions.

Llamé varias veces y minutos antes de la hora de cita, una señorita llamada PRISCILA RODRÍGUEZ me dijo que no podían ayudarme, a pesar de que antes me habían asegurado lo contrario. Me prometieron un reembolso en 3 a 5 días hábiles, pero nunca llegó. Desde entonces llevo más de un mes intentando obtener respuestas. Cada vez que llamas te transfieren a diferentes personas --al menos a ocho personas en una sola llamada de más de 50min -- y nadie sabe nada ni te pueden dar una respuesta concreta. Todo el trato fue poco profesional y nada transparente. Cada vez que llamaba, me atendía una persona diferente que parecía no tener idea de mi caso. No hay registros, no hay comprobantes de pago, no hay evidencia de las conversaciones ni de la supuesta consulta. Solicité que por vía Email me hiciera llegar alguna prueba de que mi caso sería escalado y manejado de manera apropiada pero me dijo la "SRTA ANA" que no tenían ningún correo electrónico de la firma de ellos en donde me pudiera comunicar. Todo lo manejan por teléfono o mensajes de texto, sin ningún tipo de respaldo legal ni documento formal. Mi cita fue el 15 de septiembre y hoy es 17 de octubre, más de un mes después, y aún no he recibido mi dinero ni ninguna llamada de seguimiento. Ya ni siquiera tengo confianza en llamar porque claramente no hay control ni seriedad dentro de esa oficina. Es muy triste y frustrante ver cómo se aprovechan de la confianza de los inmigrantes que buscan ayuda legal.
