They were in no hurry to settle the case early. Some employees are honest and ethical, and some incredibly dishonest and unethical. The main attorney is critical, cursed at me, and told me "you are not likable". The main attorney has a pattern of suing his clients for overbilled fees. The main attorney made claims my case was costly and complex because he had to communicate with my forensic accountant often. He did not. I had a contract with my forensic accountant, communicated myself with her, and asked her not to call their law office. The forensic accountant only creates a report and submits it; no need for expensive calls.

After the initial adrenaline wore off, days passed, and pain became prevalent, I knew something was terribly wrong. I'd never been in a serious accident, so I was very concerned about the next steps in the process. I knew I needed an attorney, but I wasn't sure who to choose. Given my profession, I knew there were certain qualities I wanted the person representing me to have, and after googling accident attorneys in Houston, reading client reviews, and client results, I decided to call Mr. Kadlec's office and that was the best decision I've made thus far. When l initially called, Sam was the first person I spoke with, gave all the details, and voiced my concerns to. Sam was honest and upfront from the initial conversation informing me that every case was different, and unfortunately, the law office didn't take on every case, he explained that he would consult with Mr. Kadlec to see if their law office could assist my daughter and I, and that he would let me know the outcome either way. Within 24 hours, Sam reached out to me, and informed me that after consulting with Mr. Kadlec, he was pleased to announce that Mr. Kadlec could represent me in this matter. I had never been fired before, nor had I ever been accused of the things they accused me of. They were quick to try to get me to sign a severance agreement that waived all of my rights. I did a quick search for an attorney and came across Mitchell Katine. I sent in a contact us form on his website and he immediately contacted me. The initial phone conversation was genuine and not rushed, and ultimately he asked me to bring all of my documentation into the office so that I would be able to show him what was going on. Though I was dealing with lack of income during the holiday season from being out of work, I knew I needed guidance and needed to spend the money. Best $250 I had ever spent on a consult. When meeting with Mitchell, he took his time to get to know me and the issues that came up. He reviewed the severance agreement they gave me and provided his opinion on how to proceed but ultimately let me make the final decision with the facts of how to approach this situation I was in.
