I retained Sullo and Sullo to help me with a traffic infraction that occurred in May of 2016. My matter was set before the judge in April of 2017, almost an entire year later (not due to counsel delay, but the court being backlogged.) I didn't know who had been assigned to represent me, but Sullo and Sullo contacted me by text and phone the week prior to remind me of the date and where to go. As a first time defendant in the US court system, I wasn't sure what to expect. Harold Landreneau called his list and I was able to meet with him to introduce myself and he explained briefly what was going to happen that day (a lot of waiting.) He was pleasant and gave me a sense of ease that though it could be a long day, that he was mindful of my case before the court and was doing his best to get through a busy docket. Having worked in the Canadian justice system for years, the process was relatively familiar but every now and then, Harold would call me up and explain my options and where we could go from there. Every time, he explained it in a way I know someone who was unfamiliar with the court system would understand and he had a way of making his clients not be afraid of what was happening in the courtroom. After several conversations with me and the District Attorney/ officer, my matter was resolved and dismissed, much to my appreciation. I always had the sense that Harold cared about what was happening with each of his matters and took the time to explain everything to each client- as someone who has worked alongside many lawyers, I know how valuable it is to help people feel comfortable in such a vulnerable position. It is time the word get's out on this law firm. As a frequent speeder around Houston for the past 20 years, I have had numerous tickets. I had hired several different firms before I decided to give these guys a try after receiving one of their advertisements. After my first dismissal with them, I was hooked. I have now hired them at least 5 or 6 times and they always get my stuff dismissed. I think these guys have a majority of he people in the court room every time I am with them and they seem to get everything dismissed. The reason for this review is that I promised my Sullo lawyer a 5 star review if he could get me out of my most recent ticket. (I'm embarrassed to say it was for doing 24 miles over the speed limit in a school zone - I swear I didn't know it was a school zone. There wasn't even a school there!!) Anyway, the prosecutor would not let the case go and the officer was being totally rude. My attorney told me that if nice doesn't work, there is always the law. He walked up to the judge and started to argue that there was a mistake with how the ticket was written. The next thing I know, the judge called me up and told me my case was dismissed. The prosecutor was glaring at the judge and my officer looked like he was going to go crazy that my attorney was able to get it thrown out. Way to go Sullo. Totally worth it. read more

This was my first time using a lawyer. I spoke with multiple attorneys after researching all the different ones through forums and reviews before landing on Sullo and Sullo. I did not know what to really expect, but went into it not expecting a perfect outcome. They got me a very reasonable offer from the court in the pre trial hearing, which they recommended me deny and take it to jury trial, which comes included in their price unlike the others I spoke to. A couple months later, we met for jury trial and I, again, expected to just end up having to take an offer similar to the initial one. Phillip met me at the courtroom and gave me their offer which was the same as before and we denied it. He took my answer back to the court and argued to just get the case dismissed, even though the cop that ticketed me had showed up and they had all the information they needed to fight their offense against me. When Phillip came back and told me what happened before we even had to go see a jury, I was baffled. I will forever use and recommend them. Just take my word for what it's worth that I already did the research into the different options and this is the only route you should go if you don't want to be disappointed. I would just like to take the time out to give Sullo & Sullo a great review because they're attorney Harold J.Landreneau was a really great help to me, he represented me on one case for a ticket that I had hired Sullo & Sullo for, and while helping me on that case, he ran across another warrant in the system for me (that I thought had already been dismissed) he helped me straighten that one out and he didn't have to do that ,but he did it out of the kindness of his own heart just to help me save money. I feel like he was a really nice attorney that actually cared for his clients and not just about money, he end up getting one of the charges dismissed but I had to pay $119 for the warrant, which was alright with me because if it had not been for him I would have paid way more than that. But I general feel like they have some good attorneys working for them because there was another attorney I think his name was Joe that he had got to help me too, and I appreciate all that was done for me. Dealing with the courts (any government agency for that matter) is never any fun. I found this out early on in life and quickly learned how much easier it is just to hire attorneys to handle ALL legal matters (including traffic tickets). I was represented by Sullo & Sullo recently. I was impressed with the professionalism, promptness and over all fight for me attitude. Donald W. Jenkins was the attorney from the firm. Since the officer was not willing to let go of the charge, I was given threee choices. When I saw that none of the above was to my liking I decided to fight the case. I got a letter from them via mail for my recent speeding ticket. After checking their reviews on yelp I decided to ask them for help on dismissing this ticket. Unfortunately, the agent who answered my phone call are very rude. They said that they can't take my case cause on my court day there is no one available and then I said that I can change my court day please just let me know what date you have attorney available. She was like we can't tell you. I said so you are not helping, do you mean you don't care about your customer and you don't want new busines? And I was shocked that she said YES, you are correct and hang up on me!!! What a rude reponse! I don't know why she treated new customer so unprofessional. Maybe she was not in good nood but Gosh be professional! So I called Citizen Lawfirm and they called court for me and took my case. They were helpful and nice to customers. I received a speeding ticket in Stafford, Texas and was contacted by Sullo & Sullo LLP. I decided to give their services a try. I am glad I did. At the pretrial, I spoke with Donald Jenkins who basically said I had three options. Take Defensive Driving at roughly a cost of $160, request Deferred Adjudication (Probation) and have ticket dismissed after 90 days for approximately the ticket fee or go to trial. The court had a video of the incident, so I waited to review it before making my choice of options. Mr. Jenkins' associate watched the video with me and determined that the other vehicles on the road were traveling at the same speed as my car. He asked the prosecutor to dismiss the case and it was. I even received a phone call to remind me of my court date. When i got to court, I was so happy to see that my lawyer was the first one there, definitely on time! today was my fourth time to hire Sullo&Sullo over as many years. they always send very competent, polite attorneys. Today was no different Mr. Philip J Payter handled my case for me and he was on point. my ticket was written for 14 mph over the limit and Mr. Payter was able to find an issue with the ticket and my case was dismissed. and this was Pasadena . (if you know you know)They can't guarantee you a dismissal, but this has been everytime. Just a real quick comparison I live in Galveston County they don't offer service and Galveston County so I had to hire. Different attorney cost me four times as much and the ticket was on my record. I had hired Sullo&Sullo to help me with my speed ticket. The cost of their services is $50. I spend 5 hours in the court, the police officer did not show up but my lawyer did not help me to get my case dismissed. So, I ended up by paying additional $133 for the court fees. Which , eventually, would be the same amount if I would do it without help of the officer. SInce the officer was not there , it was a piece of cake for the lawyer to get my case dismissed. 04/02/2018 I have a very unusual surname and had two unusual citations (tickets). I was initially, very intimidated going into the Municipal Courtroom, packed, standing room only, at 7:45 am (over 200 people). Like almost everyone in court that day, my hope was the complaining officer would fail to show up. In my case this did not happen. My attorney. Katherine McCreedy, did a little research then told me to just wait while she spoke with the prosecuting attorney. Within a very few minutes she returned and told me my case was dismissed. It seems the officer had written the incorrect address for the citation, speeding in a school zone, and the address shown was not even in a school zone. I received an unsolicited letter after receiving a speeding ticket. I was told that they would represent me for $80 and may or may not be able to get the ticket dismissed. Upon inquiring as to what would happen if they couldn't get the ticket dismissed she stated that defensive driving would still be an option. Upon probing as to why I would want to gamble with paying them $80 while still carrying the possibility of also paying for defensive driving, she literally hung up on me in mid-sentence. The entire "justice" system in Texas is a joke. Road-pirates extort money from people traveling and causing no harm to anyone else, and then lawyers try to gouge the situation for more money. read more
