Walked in this site after grabbing some coffee at the Starbucks at the corner. First impression "wow is smells amazing in here" Wasn't looking for anything really. Until the person in charge recomended the Bakuchi Cream. I am obsessed with it. Been using it as my nighttime moisturizer and my skin feels sooooo smooth. read more

Wow, this stuff really works! The staff recommended an arthritis lotion for my thumb, and I was honestly skeptical--but I'm impressed. For the first time in a long while, I woke up without stiffness or discomfort in my thumb. The team was knowledgeable, helpful, and took the time to suggest the right product instead of just selling me something. I truly appreciate the guidance--and the relief! Highly recommend. read more

I started with just a few items - makeup remover, face wash, etc. Over the past year, I've added chapstick, body wash, helping hand lotion, cuticle oil - as many things as possible! The products are wonderful, clean, no overpowering scents, and all natural. I love supporting this small business, Carly and her staff. read more

Covid review #93 This place is so awesome. I was running late and I actually got lost. It was like 5 minutes till they closed and when I called a cheerful voice answered and assured me I was only about a mile away and that they would wait for me. That cheerful voice belonged to Kelly. I've run into so many grinches lately that she was just such a blessing and a breath of fresh air. Not only does the store consistently have high quality and wonderful therapeutic good smelling items to choose from but they are so nice that I feel great supporting this place and spending my money here. I learned that they also sell water by the gallon that is alkalinized and purified. It was really nice to be able to get personalized service and talk to someone about out upcoming Christmas... just to be able to wish that someone will have a very merry Christmas with theur family, to a stranger, but feel that togetherness of anticipating Christmas. Loved her beautiful gift bag wrapping for free too!!! read more

Lavish Aromatherapy Store - They wrapped my gift so beautifully for Christmas!!! - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - San Diego, California

Lavish is an excellent local shop where they make ALL their wonderful products from scratch!!

I use many products from Lavish! They are all amazing. Carly, the owner really knows natural health and beauty. I recently stopped getting gel on my nails. They were so weak and torn up. I stated using her cuticle oil on my nails everyday and they are so strong and look great. I also have dry skin and the apricot argan oil is part of my daily routine. Skin stays moisturized all day and I smell great. Go see Carly, tell her what ails you and I swear she knows how to fix it with one or some of her products. Also, this is a great place to buy gifts that people will rave about. read more

This store is wonderful and the owner Carly hand makes all her products! Definitely worth checking out if your into all natural products...

This place is phenomenal. I have been going here for years. I use their sleep mist every night, and love the all organic makeup products they make/stock. They also always have the loveliest salespeople. I have only had positive experiences. I love their spread of all organic products, but my favorite is the sleep mist. It works like a charm every time, and I miss it when I go on vacation. I also love their body scrubs. Additionally, although I haven't used them, they stock a lot of products for skin rejuvenation, with some products keeping new mothers' bodies especially in mind. That said, there are definitely products for men, women, boys, girls, and everyone in between/non-gender identifying! Definitely worth going in for a visit. There is also a cheese shop next door that is excellent, as well. The two make a great pairing. read more

Even though I don't get a chance to come here all the time when I do I always leave happy with a new purchase. The staff is friendly and willing to help you. I love the LEMON TEA TREE HAND SANITIZER, smells good and leaves my hands soft,as well as the foot cream. read more

Lovely spot with all beauty and care you need. Love their body scrub it's the best I've ever tried, oh and aromatherapy sprays super good to have around the house or work for different needs. So glad I've found this little gem in Mission Hilss. read more

My husband found this store on a search to find me a solution for eczema. The doctors were prescribing different creams most of which have steroids, which also mean side effects. The cream he bought me has been life saver! I've been back since to see what else they have and have found a lot of other great products. The owner who helped me was Carly and she really knows her stuff. Everything they make is from natural ingredients. I would strongly recommend this place for all beauty needs from body lotion to lip balm, to really nice essential oils. Ps. This is a great place to get gifts. They have excellent quality items, which are nice to give as gifts, and their gift wrapping is amazing! So beautiful...when I received a gift from here I kept the packaging because it was so nice:) read more

I love this place!!!! There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said. The sisters who own it are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. (With no pressure!) I have been coming to the shop for about 6 years and I have been happy with everything so far. I'll tell you what I really love about this place, they keep track of your purchases, so when my dad needs a gift idea for me, he can go into the shop and the owners know exactly what I should be running low on or what I might like to try based on my past purchases. My dad gives them a price range, leaves to have a beer and comes back to beautifully wrapped gift. it seems to work great for all of us!!! read more

I have been going to Lavish since day one! I love everything about this store! The staff and products are amazing. They even have a spa - it is incredible! read more

They make a room/linen spray called "Alpine Fresh" that is my favorite. When I spray it, I go into calm, cool and collected mode. Really good stress reliever. read more

I have been using Lavish products for over a year now, both at my house and business. I am a doctor of Chinese Medicine, herbalist, and acupuncturist. The aroma combinations are unique and wonderful. While I love and use many products, I use the Alpine Fresh Room and Linen Freshener and the room before treatments. My patients always comment how good the room smells. I can't say enough good things about Lavish. read more

This is a great find. This little neat store is owned by two young sisters who started out by just having fun mixing essential oils and took it an extra mile until they eventually decided to open up their own boutique a couple years ago. They are so friendly and helpful, but most of all they are good at what they do. Their products like the rose mist or the lavender face wash smell insanely pure. They have target products for specific skin problems, like eczema or psoriasis. When I first entered the store, I thought I had just stepped into a smoothie joint, and then it all came clear to me; Their innovative fruit frescas line for body, hair, and face are made with fresh fruit and are nearly edible. It's just a great line; make sure you use it within a few days as they are perishable products. read more

This is a great little find, I love the body lotion! It actually feels like it absorbs and hydrates, rather than the other brands I have, which just smell good on the surface and evaporate. They make everything from natural ingredients and are very helpful and fun girls (sisters!). We need to support little shops like this! They even have "smoothies" you can buy! They are called Fruit Frescas and are all natural fruit concoctions for your hair, skin, face etc. that last for 1-4 uses. Very cool! read more

Super cute neighborhood boutique! They make their own body scrubs and have a sink where you can sample on your skin. Most of their personally made products have simple and natural ingredients. My favorite right now is their Eucalyptus Cool body scrub. It's a seasonal item so stock up if you like it too. Great selection of other bath products. It's my new favorite little store. read more

I finally stopped in here after living in the area for several months- I now have a new "go to" place for gifts and home spa purchases. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable. All their products are made in house and are scented only with essential oils- no harsh perfumes. This makes for lovely scented products that don't overpower. Plus, it feels better on your skin without all the artificial additives. The owner is willing to answer any questions and offer samples to help you find your new favorite product. read more

I SWEAR by the clean up facewash...everytime I stop using it I'll break out. Then I use it and BAM it's perfect again!

I absolutely love Yelp for letting me find this jewel of a store. I was treated very kindly by the gentleman today and he was very knowledgable about essential oils. I am enjoying the lavender blend tonight and it is lovely and the cost for this oil was so great but the quality was not at all compromised. All the things in the store looked hand made. I have to come back to try the body scrubs .Overall go check this place out they just gain one new customer who's spreading the word! read more

Huge fan of this store! It is such a great place to get essential oils at very reasonable prices. Forget about over paying for corporate doTerra -- support this family owned business!! Also - love that they sell Jane Iredale makeup. Friendly and informative service, easy parking right out front and they have a punch card for every $25 you spend. Have already recommended to my friends. read more

This place is heaven on earth! I've recently joined the throngs of people who actually read labels and am trying to go organic and/or natural in as many aspects of my life as I can. My gal pal introduced me to these products a few weeks ago and I've already been back! Just walking in lowers my stress level - taking in all the aromas. And this shop exudes peace and calmness. If you are moved physically, mentally and spiritually by your sense of smell, you will love this place! I've purchased makeup remover, body lotion and room/linen spray - all made in house. These two sisters know what they are doing - and I plan to do a lot of Christmas shopping there! read more

Only because I moved so far away, it's been 3 years since I was in this little slice of aroma heaven. I drove 2 hrs round trip to visit today. My mom is staying with me and I had to get her off stinky chemical perfume. We bought the spray for the bed sheets (among other things) came home, sprayed the fresh sheets and my dog went wild. He jumped on the bed and threw himself down to roll on the sheets to get the smell all over him. I've only seen him do that in thick lush grass before. Mom smells great, her room is best smelling in the house, dog loves it, and I'm soaking in my Moroccan Earth bath salts. Thank you Lavish. read more

A friend put me on to essential oils and this place had exactly everything I read about on the "internets". Dawn?, the cashier, was friendly and genuinely wanted to help me find something that suited particular interests. Everything smells great, has labels, Dawn has extensive knowledge of their product lines, the tea tree oil helped almost instantly. I'll be a regular. read more

I have been buying from Lavish since they opened and really love the quality of their products. My current favorite products are: Himalayan Pink Salt Body Scrub (it smells delicious), Oat Face Scrub/Mask (it makes my skin super smooth), and Tension Relief Oil with CBD (it is very calming). In addition to personal products, it is a great place to shop for gifts and they will wrap them also!!!!! read more

My go-to spot for all of my skin care. Extremely knowledgeable and caring staff. Picked up a natural migraine treatment for my boyfriend's mom last time I was there and she loves it!! Try the orange honey clay mask for a decadent facial. Made with fresh fruits on the spot. Fantastic! read more

Amazing! The nicest people work here. Greater products; shops like this are great examples of why it's nice to shop at small retailers

I have used these products on and off for years... Unfortunately, I moved to north county and don't make it down that way often so I went back to Aveda.... I developed Little tiny white heads on my face- something in even the sensitive line irritated my skin. So I ordered the clear up face wash and nourish moisturizer over the phone (the online ordering system wasn't working). The lady I spoke to was super sweet and helpful, as they always are here. Honestly it's been a few years since I used these, I had completely forgotten how amazing they are! My skin looks amazing, after 5 days! Love this little shop! read more

Extremely helpful. Resourceful and friendly. Thanks Kristin (spelling?). The guy who decided to make his own shampoo. Nathan.

Love this store. I buy ALL my skin care products here and now I have my husband hooked on them as well. Their face wash and face cream are the best I have ever used and I have very sensitive skin. The owner's knowledge and devotion to all-natural formulations is impressive. I will be a life-long customer. read more

I visited for the first time today to see if they had any essential oils I would usually drive to LA to get. They have a nice selection that's also well priced. Additionally, I was able to meet both the owners today, who provided EXCELLENT customer service. When they found out I make my own products, they were still very accommodating and even gave me some tips on how I can improve what I make. Others would have seen me as "competition" but they were warm and open with tips and answers to all my questions. I will be returning to Lavish for my oil needs and even a few other things. I highly recommend this business. read more

Employees are super knowledgeable and friendly. I love the face moisturizer that the Lavish Ladies make! It's better than anything I can find elsewhere. It's not greasy or too heavy and it doesn't make me break out. For those pesky one off zits, the Clear Up is amazing. I also use it on bug bites! The essential oils blends, room mists, soaps, body wash, lotions are all hand made and absolutely amazing. They do gift wrapping and have perfect gifts for the holidays. Free parking in back. It's worth it to treat yourself to these natural products. And they aren't any more expansive than what you can find at sprouts or Whole Foods. read more

If you could only shop at one store for all of your shampoo, lotion, body cream, makeup, CBD oil, essential oils, and other beauty needs, Lavish is your store. I have been shopping there for 10 years and it gets better all the time. Most of the products they sell are handmade with natural ingredients and their frequent sales are terrific! I can't say enough wonderful things about Lavish. read more

I've been in this shop twice in the last week. A little gem. It feels like a spa when you first step in. The ladies I have met who work here are outstanding and are so friendly. I really love it. I am so happy I live/work right around the corner. I highly recommend! read more

I went here for the first time a week ago, after deciding from the reviews that it sounded like my kind of place. The shop is really cute and clean, also very organized based on what type of product you're looking for. I do wish they had more essential oils to choose from, but a very good selection overall. What is unique about this shop is the stuff they can whip up for you on the spot....I bought an amazing little face mask that lasted me several uses! (It was the orange honey....BUY IT!) I also got a sample of a conditioner with my purchase. The ladies who own the shop are so nice and will answer any questions you have. A great new discovery!! read more

I absolutely LOVE the fresh Tropical Topical papaya face mask. I have to exfoliate my skin frequently and usually I purchase those microderm abrasion kits. But they are smelly and the chemicals eat away at the polish on my nails which concerned me about what it is doing to my face. I will never use another face product other than this one. My face was smooth and perfectly exfoliated without any irritation or redness. AND it smells AMAZING! Excellent place to browse without any pressure to purchase. My cat adores the catnip, and I'll have to pick him up the extract the next time I'm there. read more
