Went in and loved that it was not overly packed. Very quaint little spot. I got the green tea spa pedicure & and it was great. 15 minute massage and my feet feel super smooth. I also got a fill and my nails look brand new. Definitely happy :)) read more

I was there with my mom the other day. First off, They are nice and friendly but the service was kind of too fast. She was also fast to bring the check to me as soon as I put my shoes on. The way they approach to clients is a bit intimidating! Not my cup of tea! They need more professionalism to keep the show running. Bumping them to four stars because they have consistently provided great service since I have been going there. They are attentive and always try to please their customers. Speak up and speak kindly and they consistently reciprocate. I still stand by my earlier comment that they appear to be much cleaner that most other salons in Bayonne. read more

Recommend making an appointment when coming here. Employees are great and super nice. Sometimes even if they are busy they will try to fit an an appointment in for you. The nail polish lasts long, and they do a great job. I normally get a gel mani or pedi and my gel mani last about 2.5 weeks. My gel pedi lasts for a good month. Definitely by far one of the worst sets I have ever received. The nails were uneven, the nail polish uneven, nail tech was also rough and left one of my cuticles bloody--not once apologized. When I asked to fix the nails that were messed up she then said it's my nails...like it's my first set. All my past techs could have done a straight set but whatever. I went back after leaving the store because I was just kind blown on the state of my nails showing her what was wrong and this woman dead look at me and asked if I wanted to apply the polish because she can't see anything wrong. I HAD to get up and leave because the AUDACITY. I just moved here searching for a good nail tech and this experience has been horrendous. Never going back. read more

The owner rushes you out and barely spends time on your nails. I went recently and she didn't even soak my hands, she kept talking about how nice the color was but barely paid attention to her painting. A regular manicure barely lasted me 3 days. I work in an office where the most hard labor my hands go through is typing out emails. I used to really like this place but not for regular manicures. read more

I've tried this place twice now and won't be trying a third time. First time I got an acrylic fill-in and gel manicure. She was so rough with the file that she made me bleed. Manicure barely lasted a week and a half. Second time I got a new full set. She made me bleed again! This was three days ago and two of my fingers are still sore. On top of that she shaped them horrendously and I look like I got duckbills on my fingers, smh, so I'm going to need to find yet another nail place and have a whole new set done again. If I could give this place no stars I would. It was the worst pedicure ever. When I realized that she wasn't cutting my cuticles, I asked her to please do so and she didn't understand what I was saying that I had to gesture with my hands. Everyone spoke minimal English she barely scrubbed my feet and again I had to say something. As I sat and waited for my toes to dry which was a terrible paint job, I noticed that equipment she used on me, was only run under water and put in space for the next customer and not disinfected. I said something to them again and I was ignored probably mainly because they didn't understand me. Never again! read more

BAD BUSINESS ETHICS. The salon is very nice and do a very good job on your nails. However, I will NEVER return. The manicurist gave me a french ombre powder manicure. I specified NOT pink and very natural/nude with white tip ombre. The nails are clearly PINK. Customers agreed and I have photos to prove it. The manicurist argued that it wasn't pink then argued that its what I wanted. The salon was not busy and the owner clearly knew I was not happy. I still paid the 70+$ with pedicure and even tipped the girl. I didnt want to make a scene, since they were loudly speaking in their own language to each other. Something that I find VERY rude in our country. I later called the owner. She continued to banter with the manicurist on the phone with me. Arguing with me & never offering to fix it for me.For $50$$? I was kind and calm. This is NO way to operate a business in the US. If she continues to not listen to the customer she will surely go out of business. This is NOT how business is conducted in our country. The customer should ALWAYS leave happy. I decided to try it, I have been going to another salon in downtown Bayonne that I liked, but when the best manicurist left.. I had to go to... So I tried Lavender nail salon. I had made an appt the day before, which was a good thing I did because they were pretty busy when I got there. I asked for a gel fill with gel polish and coffin shape, not to thick on the fill as well... N Ivy did just that!!! I'm very satisfied with my nails, the staff is very nice n they also do threading brows which the owner is great at. They stayed open late for there clients n I didn't feel rushed out. The only thing I would say needs some work on is the pedicure... It was ok but, and I'm gonna give it a 2nd try cuz it was late n the pedicurist was VERY young... All and all going bck again hopefully my experience the 2nd time around is even better read more

I'm just going to start off this review by saying that this salon is pretty good. The people are really nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. My first time going here was great. I had a wonderful spa pedicure & left feeling lovely. My second time, on the other hand, was not so great. I came in on 6/12/15 for a pedicure and tips. My pedicure came out great but my tips, OMG, horrible. DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT, let the owner to your nails. She is awful. I asked her for "coffin" shaped short nails and what she did to me was FAR from that. It was disgusting and what made it worse, was the fact that she was laughing about it. If you are going to open a nail salon, you need to know how to do nails AND how to treat your customers. My nails looked terrible, and to this day, my fingers are still sore from all of the filing she was doing. I was pissed. The girl sitting in the front chair usually does the tips and I will be going to her from now on. She did the best she could to fix the damage that the OWNER did to my nails. I appreciated her work very much but I have definitely learned my lesson. read more
