Growing up in Portland, after going to a club or a show or a Blazer game your choices of finding something late night to eat was limited to Taco Bell, Hot Cake House, Montage...and if you were with all your guy friends, the Acrop. I'm sure you all know by now, but the owners of the Acrop also own a cattle ranch, and are able to cut the middlemen out and offer you a fantastic steak or steak bites fresh from their ranch at rock bottom prices. Is this place going to beat out any steak at a proper steakhouse? No. Is it going to beat out a lot of the lower priced steaks at chains or pubs? You're damn right it will. Real ones know that you can call ahead or go around back and order from the pickup window. If you wanna eat on the go...steak bites are the way to do it...or if you wanna be a little more classy you can just get the standard steak special, and try to cut through that steak with plasticware lol. Things have really improved a lot regarding the setting and hospitality. There's now an upstairs area and even an additional bar to the far side of the establishment. The bar staff and dancers were friendlier this time around and more willing to interact. I especially love the wide selection of music that Spyce plays as opposed to other clubs. They play more than just typical strip club music, but actually good songs. Including some 80's tunes! The services have improved in which you now can get the whole nine yards with dances instead of just half. Not to mention that they actually take debit! How many clubs offer that feature? Security is a little tighter than I remembered it, but that shows they care about providing a safe and fun time. Overall, I look forward to going back to see how this new and improved Spyce holds up. Maybe they'll be even more upgrades!
