I had stopped my yoga practice about 14 years ago for various reasons and have been wanting to get…read moreback into it for the last several years. I've talked myself out of it each time the thought entered my mind. With many life changing events that have occurred recently my mind, body and spirit have been completely misaligned. I decided that I was no longer going to allow my negative self talk get in my way of taking care of myself and to give myself permission to take the time I need to heal. With that I started researching yoga studios close to my home. One Monday evening I decided to take a ride to Seeds of Love Yoga to "check it out". By chance, or Devine intervention, Kristin happened to be there even though at that time they typically wouldn't haven been open. When we started talking the energy in the room was just right. I felt a connection immediately and just knew this is where I wanted to start. Kristin was so warm and welcoming. She has a way of making you feel supported and understood. After we talked, I went home and signed up for a Saturday morning class and that class ignited a fire within me and I could feel all the negative energy leave my body. It was almost like a spiritual cleanse for me and I felt like I was home again. There are a lot of options for payment and they are all super affordable. You can pay for a membership with a portion of the membership cost going to help those in difficult financial situations be able to take yoga classes they otherwise wouldn't be able to. If you don't want to pay for a membership there is just an $8 suggested donation. A week in and I've taken two more classes and both were amazing. I'm looking forward to all the physical, spiritual and emotional healing that's to come. Thank you, Kristin, for creating space for all at Seeds of Love Yoga.

This restorative class ended with acupuncture by Tara in the famous salt room in a zero-gravity chair. I found HEAVEN! Ladies, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Best Sunday Funday ever! Namaste

I had been diagnosed with abnormal cells that were a stage below cancer and they had to be biopsied- after one reiki session the follow-up test I had done at my doctors was negative! I also to a mercaba meditation class with her as well as her crystal healing certificate course. Faye is always welcoming and answers any questions I have had. Not only that, but she has taught me so much on my spiritual path! I have gotten insight on topics like ascendant masters, archangels, and all kinds of sacred geometry! Thank you Faye for always taking the time to make sure each one of our visits are special!

I was able to take a little over 24 hours in this serene home to meditate, walk, read and sit with Sister Maria for an hour of spiritual direction which felt like cool water. Whatever your faith or place in this world this home and center opens its doors for quiet and discernment. Sister Maria explained that the history of the house has always been for justice and discernment so there is a rich legacy on these grounds from those who were here before. There is also a quiet beautiful cemetery nearby for long walks and quiet reflection. The room I stayed in had big windows and natural light poured in during the day. I am already planning my next silent meditation retreat. (The center also offers big beautiful rental spaces for gathering. ) Thank you for the love, Cranaleith!

The sisters and administrative manager could not have been nicer or more helpful. The atmosphere is very peaceful with a labyrinth pond, chickens and geese, and beehives/honey produced on the premises. The retreat's name in Gaelic refers to a sanctuary of trees. I highly recommend it to anyone desiring a break from worldly cares to rest and rejuvenate. The site is easily reached by commuter train from Philadelphia and the house has an interesting history as host to suffragettes like Susan B. Anthony.

I have been trying to get into a yoga class for the last few weeks and today was it. I committed…read moreto doing it, went online, found a location close to where I would be working today & signed up as a drop in. I have never ever taken a yoga class before so I signed up for a beginner class and I honestly don't know what I thought it was going to be.....but this wasn't it. First, I couldn't find the place. The gps kept saying arrived - but I didn't believe it because it kept taking me to a shopping center. I saw Kohl's, PetSmart and BurgerKing - no way would there be a yoga studio here. But there it was right next to the Spirit Halloween store with a sign as big as day. Ok so all that farting around looking for the place made me late. I walked in literally 3 minutes before the class started. I ran into a young woman who asked if she could assist me. After explaining that I was there for my first class and apologizing for walking in at the zero hour she told me she was the instructor and that she would wait for me while I changed. Ok - so far, so good. (For me anyway, idk about those 13 other people who had to wait for me) The studio is very clean, peaceful, spacious large windows covered with blinds to set the mood and a corner with mats, blankets, blocks & eye pillows in case you forgot yours. This is where it got a little confusing for me. I thought I would get a workout, I thought someone would correct poses & posture, I thought I would break a sweat or at the very least get a killer stretch. Nope, none of the above. The instructor was sweet and did say this was a beginners class which is what I wanted and she stated that she was pregnant and would be going slowly. Ok, all that's fine - but I'm sitting here wondering what I got out of that one hour class, did I do yoga? Or did I sit on a mat inhaling? On top of everything, $15 for a drop in seems pretty expensive when most other places charge between $7 and $10. I don't know if I'll be back. I kind of want to try a different instructor but am worried that if the class is like this one was, I'll be turned off to yoga. But at the same time, I don't like writing poor reviews and they offer so many classes that it could have just been a one off. There were 13 other people in that room so there is a really good possibility that it was just me and I probably just need more than just breathing.
