I was a bit nervous about doing any dental procedures here because I had always done all my dental work in another country with my regular dentist. However, the entire staff was very welcoming and friendly :) I also want to mention that I didn't have to wait long for my appointments, which is something that often happens at other places here. My first visit was a consultation, and the second visit was for the procedure itself. I had only one wisdom tooth removed. This was my first time at this facility and I already hate the dentist as it is. It's scary for me personally. I met the staff. The front desk girls were nice, the dentist was alright. He could've taken his time a little more in explaining the details of the evaluation. He was literally just in and out. So someone else would probably be better. Luis the assistant was definitely the highlight! The sweetest, most caring and nurturing assistant I've ever encountered in a dentist office or even Drs's office. I unfortunately had a very disappointing experience at this office. I already struggle with anxiety when it comes to dental visits, and instead of feeling supported, I felt uncomfortable and dismissed. The receptionist gave me attitude when I was unable to make it to an appointment, which already made the situation stressful. What really upset me was that they contacted my emergency contact to confirm an appointment, which felt inappropriate and unnecessary to me. During my visit, the doctor made several comments that came across as unprofessional and insensitive. She told me she "matches energy," said I "came in hot" when I was simply trying to explain my concerns, and told me she "doesn't need me to lecture her." She also compared my situation to a 10-year-old child, which felt belittling and disrespectful. On top of that, she questioned why I arrived exactly at my appointment time and said I should have arrived earlier for sedation, even though I came at the scheduled time given to me. I understand communication goes both ways, but as a patient with dental anxiety, I expected more compassion, patience, and professionalism. When i tell you i DESPISED going to the dentist, I am preveying it with my whole heart and soul, UNTIL I had to go in one day for a root canal.... As I was sitting there, in the padded dentist chair, listening to waves crash on the beach via the TV above me, I was shaking with anxiety and panic as I have done for years! My ears were going into the drilling naked, as i had I had forgotton my headphones! This was going to be torture again for the next 30 minutes! When Omid walked over, with a calm, collected and confident voice, my nerves calmed 1%! Than he started inspecting and was about to get in there, I was shocked... How can a numbing needle feel like massage therapy?!?! He was a magician with his hands! They flowed so effortlessly as his performed his art! I went from a nervous wreck to almost falling asleep in comfort under his watch. I was done in less than 10 minutes. WOW! This was a feeling i had NEVER felt before at a dentist! I would have kissed his hands if it were acceptable! I was in a state of Euphoria! Believe me when i say this, I am not exagerating! I dont typically write like this, but i feel like i hit gold here and I would want everyone to experience this! I have been back many times, all of the dentist there seem to be at the top of their craft! I don't ever write reviews, but after what I went through at this dental office, I think it's important to warn others. I came in for a wisdom tooth removal, and the receptionists were kind and helpful. Unfortunately everything went downhill as soon as the doctor (didn't get his name) walked in. He came in with a bad attitude as soon as he saw me, talking to me in a way that was almost judgmental/shameful because of the timing I chose to get my wisdom teeth removed. He does not have a singular ounce of empathy for his patients and he just kept on going on about how bad it was going to hurt. The moment he laid hands on me to put the anesthesia, I could feel how careless he was shoving his hand into my mouth aggressively and not being cautious. He seemed to not even be paying attention to what he was doing, which stayed that way throughout the procedure. The upper wisdom tooth came out fine, but when the dentist got to the lower one, things only got worse. He was clearly frustrated and started getting more aggressive, pulling roughly and causing me to shake from the pain. When he finally finished, he didn't say a single word, he just walked out. I didn't receive any sort of information until his assistant came in to tell me to head up to the receptionist. However, I was so visibly shaken and in so much pain that I had to sit back down for a bit. That was until I finally forced myself to stand up and leave because being there a second longer would have been miserable It's been a few hours since the procedure, and the pain is unbearable.. far worse than what's normal after wisdom tooth removal. I had another appointment scheduled here, but I will be canceling that immediately. IN SHORT!!! This dentist was rude, impatient, and completely lacking compassion. He rushed through everything, didn't care about his patient's comfort or safety, and made what should have been a routine procedure into a traumatic experience. Please save yourself the pain and go somewhere else. No one deserves to be treated like that. read more

My regular dentist referred me to Lavender. Once there they said I needed a 3D X-ray and of course my insurance didn't cover it, so I paid for the special x-ray, $300. This is their scam, I remember taking my daughter there a few years back and they also mentioned a reason why she needed an extra x-ray that her insurance didn't cover and she also paid out of pocket. I see good reviews, but unfortunately for me,was a terrible experience, the ladies at front they're polite. When was my turn , the assistant was very rude,he pulled my temporary crown so hard that he hit my lower teeth very bad, hurting me. Than came the " doctor" he was putting air on the tooth, where the crown is going to be, that hurts, and told him, but he said, " if you close your mouth, I will do it again", rather to give a chance to recupered from the pain. He put me my partial that I already have, very hard, pushing it and hurting. I complained, but he said good bye, and walked away. Very disappointed. I complained with my insurance. When I went in today 10/25/25 I was greeted nicely by the ladies in the front , but once I went to the back and got a room the assistant right away started telling "how much it's gonna hurt to come in again" and she kept on pushing wanting me to do it all at once , increasing my fear because she kept on saying "how much it was gonna hurt " Then the "doctor" came in as well trying to make me feel bad for not doing them all today. He said "I'm just gonna suffer the pain twice " I was already nervous to for his procedure and after this I was feeling really bad . The "doctor" then proceeded to shove a needle in my mouth so hard it felt on purpose ! And the way he jammed it in n out was so unnecessary . I almost passed out due to that pain. Then 5/6 mins later he came back in and got to pulling Really hard again it almost felt like he purposely was tryin to prove his point . This was all very unprofessional and rude. I'm now looking for another dentist office to take care of my others wisdom teeth. It has now been 5 hours post extraction and my mouth is more sore from the pressure he used to put the Anastasia in more than the actual extraction ! Some male Dr just came in kinda with "bad ass " Attitude/energy, and asked me to open my mouth and this man just jammed three shots in my gums, with in 3-5 seconds and I felt like a animal. I don't think I've been seen the actual dentist that owns this business when I got my tooth extracted. I was with another. The staff at front gives you everything you need for after too the extraction. The dentist I had told me three things "You should smoke more to come more relaxed next time" "It's like giving birth" (to which I responded I haven't done that yet) "If you can't take it we can refer you to another dentist that can put you to sleep" And I was given no instructions afterwards. If anything one of the nurses that wasn't even in the room for my tooth extraction was tryna get me out of there. Until he realized I needed to be scheduled for more appointments. That dentist was rude and for adults taking care of adults. These are the most awkward "professionals". I was looking forward to going back but with the amount of pain I was in and my sister calling in and the staff not knowing what they prescribed me was a little unsettling. So with that. As a child I was never good with anxiety that came with seeing the dentist. My old dentist completely screwed me over and only removed 2 out of 4 of my wisdom teeth. Luckily, I was able to get my last two wisdom teeth removed at lavender dentistry and honestly my experience was great. The office manager is very polite, and the oral surgeon is fantastic. He explained the procedure to me and was understanding about the fact I was a little nervous. It actually went by so fast! If I have any other procedure, I am more than happy to have it done here.
