Established in 2023.
At 18, I moved to Charleston, SC to work as a door-to-door salesman in pest control. Long days in the heat and constant rejection pushed me, but I thrived, closing deals, leading my team, and discovering my passion for entrepreneurship. Being surrounded by other driven young entrepreneurs showed me that with discipline and grit, I could build something of my own.
That drive, combined with my family legacy, inspired Lava Cleaners. My grandmother started as a hotel maid in the Dominican Republic, later becoming head maid at Atlantic City casinos, cleaning executive offices with pride and excellence. Her story proved that cleaning, done right, creates opportunity and respect.
I took the sales skills I mastered in Charleston and the work ethic I inherited from her to launch Lava Cleaners in South Jersey. Today, our mission is simple: deliver reliable, detail-oriented cleanings that families and businesses can trust, while building a company rooted in integrity, hard work, and legacy.
Meet the Business Owner: Brian M.
Hi, I’m Brian, the owner of Lava Cleaners here in South Jersey.
This business is more than a company to me, it’s a continuation of my family’s story. My grandmother was a maid in the Dominican Republic, working long days in a hotel. One day, a wealthy American couple was so impressed by the care and pride she put into her work that they offered her a job in Miami, Florida as their personal maid. Eventually she moved to Atlantic City, where she rose to become head maid at the Taj Mahal, responsible for keeping the executive offices spotless.
Her story showed me that cleaning, done with integrity and excellence, opens doors. It’s about more than tidying a space, it’s about dignity, trust, and creating an environment where people feel comfortable.
When I started Lava Cleaners, I carried that same vision with me. We’re here to give South Jersey families and businesses reliable, detailed cleaning they can count on, with the same standard of care my grandmother lived by her entire life.
