Imagine my surprise to not be able to locate a single doctor in Green Valley Az for senior healthcare needs. I contacted Banner and was able to schedule a new patient appointment 13 months out from the time of scheduling. I reserved the appointment then found ZocDoc on a google search and called Lisnet's office at Milagros In South Tucson. Got an appointment within a few days. I was very impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness. The only drawback for me was needing a ride to her office from Green Valley. Lisnet made some medication changes and ordered tests I needed. She immediately referred me to specialists for specific testing and they were quick to book and good. The only reason I stopped seeing Lisnet was the 13 month appt with Banner in Green Valley finally arrived and I went as it was 2 miles from home. The MD I have been seeing is alright but not as good as Lisnet. If you are at all able to get an appointment within her, you will not regret it.

She spent time with me going over my health history and gave me options I have never heard of for auto immune diseases that I have been dealing with . Some new some old. You should have ask me first. So now I'm stuck- they need maintenance medicine, but absolutely refuses to step through there others Dr office. We are blessed, after about 3 months and I still couldn't even say his name- well one of their closest friend- Thank you Merilee- talked to Dr D- and finally got a dr to take new patients, especially my two!! She's not that fastest dr- not that it took long. Snowbirds ya know. She was incredibly patient, asking questions but you know she's analyzing everything- They Love her- and when Mom found out her husband is Fireman-- well that's all it took!! They are so helpful with coordinating our medical care. Challenges can mount with being a special needs family, but we trust our medical team to help us make good choices. Rude staff. Rude doctor. LISTEN TO THE REST THE REVIEWS - find a different doctor…read more I constantly had issues with, Laura (the manager) and I should have just found another PC - but I just thought "yeah they're rude, but I can deal with that because I can make appointments relatively fast". A mistake that's now cost me health, money and a lot of time. They didn't submit the proper documentation to my insurance on time - even though I called and asked multiple times - each time I was met with a rude tone, as if "we're not stupid - don't ask us again". Well, my insurance confirmed that the office ignored multiple phone calls and faxes trying to get it covered. They lied and wouldn't even try to help resolve the issue - then calling the company that she works for - they couldn't care less. They "looked into" my issues and found no problems. They wouldn't talk to my insurance or care to look at the evidence - they said "we talked with Dr Gallo's staff and everything was done properly". No, it wasn't and that's why I'm not liable for THEIR referrals - because they wouldn't submit it within the timeframe needed and lied about it. We choose professionals to do things like that because it's a complex deal understanding the processes and policies involved. They don't act professional and it's as if they enjoyed my issues - both Dr Gallo and Laura. I'm going to sue them because it's cost me months of treatment, a financial loss and countless hours of my life - not to mention the stress it's put on me. Run away - don't walk - this office is only interested in your money.

They never even inquired if I was okay.... wow!!! (Patient for more than 5 years) The staff are horribly rude, Renee has been nice and personable at most visits, but she can be rude paticularly when you ask her to work with other practitioners, except those that are her friends of course. She set up a referral with an equally as expensive doc, her friend, who was rude and incensitive! When I decided to go to another doc for a 2nd opinion, her office wouldn't share all of my medical information even though I'd signed the releases, but she shared all my info with her friend. The final straw was when I asked to pick up a copy of my full file and her admin told me nobody at the office could do this until Monday. Im like its just making copies and the staff becomes upset and says, "Ms. I'm working the front desk so I don't have time to do this and I don't deal with medical records..." I stayed with her for years because she really used to be great! She would spend time with patients, her staff were funny and warm. She, ironically now, helped stabilize my asthma and for that I am still grateful. But later when she opened her own practice and she and her staff became rude, inattentive and incensitive, I stayed because I really didn't have any health problems, she was close and i could get in quickly despite the snide comments about my health condition made in front of UA interns! But NO MORE! Im getting a new doctor who will provide asthma medications to asthmatics! She gets 2 stars because they get you in quickly and I know there's a good doctor inside her, though I have not seen the good one since she opened her own practice. Do yourself a favor, look at the google reviews and find another doctor.

Dr Maxwell is an excellent doctor and his staff is consistently helpful, friendly and professional…read more Like many other reviews have mentioned Dr Maxwell takes time to listen to you and makes you feel valued. He is very through in describing your test/ lab results as well as explaining different treatment paths and why he thinks one path is the best. Recently I was out in a new medication and when I started having negative side effects I was able to message Dr Maxwell through their patient portal and he messaged me back the same day and had a new prescription ready for me soon after that. I can't recommend Dr Maxwell high enough!!!

I called recently about a health concern and he was able to hold a video teleconference with me to check up on those concerns within a short time--I've never been able to get such a rapid response from a doctor, and with such ease. I would recommend going here, he listens and provides great input. At the time, I was away at college--four hours from home--so it didn't make sense to schedule appointments I couldn't attend. When I finally called to return as a patient, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, saying they couldn't take me back because of my insurance. This was confusing because my mom and sister, who are both on the exact same insurance plan, were (and still are) seen here with no issue. However, the real reason I'm writing this review is because of what happened to my younger sister. She has been on medication for anxiety for about three years, prescribed by Dr. Evans, who was also my doctor and my mom's doctor. Recently, she decided she wanted to stop taking it, and Dr. Evans told her she could taper off completely in just two weeks. For a medication she'd been taking daily for three years. My sister followed the instructions, and this past weekend--after finishing the taper--she experienced severe withdrawal symptoms, including tachycardia (rapid heart rate) and intense stomach pain. It was frightening and completely avoidable. It's deeply concerning that a licensed physician would recommend such a short taper for a long-term medication. Dr. Evans has always come across as detached and lacking empathy, but this situation goes beyond poor bedside manner--it's unsafe and irresponsible. Between the unprofessional staff, inconsistent policies, and lack of genuine care, I cannot in good conscience recommend this office to anyone, especially those dealing with mental health medications.
