I would like to defend myself against the above review. Mr H never came to my office, but always sent his wife. The IRS could not provide the documents to me, because the client could not give me the information necessary to retrieve electronically. They did not have copies of their prior returns. They did not have basis information or depreciation information for the asset sold. The information was only brought to me at the last moment so that they would not get in trouble -- after numerous requests. Due to errors in prior year tax returns for the rental -- the return was more complex and required changes in accounting methods and other forms that more than substantiated the fee. After all that, I allowed them to make payments on their bill -- interest free -- which was finally paid off in June of 2010. read more
