Staff was very friendly and the locals like this place. Someone was having their birthday party here as it was all decorated for it. Bathroom was as clean as you can get it for an old building. It took a while to find it, as it's located under a street that's also a bridge, so we had to circle around a few times. We got there, ordered a beer and a cocktail, and were told it was cash only. Oh, no! I didn't have any cash, and my boyfriend only had $10 on him. We also found out their ATM was broken. We both heard that our drinks came out to $25, so my boyfriend hands the bartender his $10 as a "deposit" while we go try to find cash. She then proceeds to give him change! We were stunned. Our total was actually $8.25. Wow. We got to have our drinks. We were pleased and amused. We thought $25 was a bit pricey, but didn't question it too much, since that's likely what we would pay at a similar tavern in California, where we live. The drinks were okay. Prices are good.
