Redfields is a large garden centre in Church Crookham, just south of Fleet. Like many garden…read morecentres, it has now become something of a "destination", with a restaurant, cafe, and large retail area selling everything from gifts (a huge range of specialist edible goodies), through homewares, children's gifts, books, stationery and women's fashions.
It's a great place to browse, and the quality and range of plants and other gardening items is excellent, though they are not always the cheapest. But in my view, when it comes to plants, you get what you pay for. It's excellent for gift purchases - Christmas, Mother's Day, etc. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
The cafe is nice - a good range of cakes for afternoon tea - but it is often busy, and can get quite noisy. Service can slow up when it gets really busy but we have never had a problem. One area is given over as a young children's play area, so if you don't like the sound of children playing, be aware.
The centre has level access throughout to the retail area, and a large car park at the front, although this can also get very busy.
