protect your children at all costs here!! parent to parent this school district doesn't handle…read moreimportant matters when it relates to someones child and there safety. they push it to the waste side and dont even let you know you can have an incident investigated instead they wait until you are no longer able to submit the complaint in a timely matter pursuant to there policies. on top of this they find info to be true and keep an employee that is unsafe to be around children. i have enclosed for everyones reference my complaint and i will follow up with there response. i have also enclosed a photo of the employee to watch your children around! i wont stop until every parent in oakley knows about this employee and what she does and how the district is protecting her. she is a sick individual and should not even be around any child esp when she falsely submits documents stating my son is highly depressed when that couldn't be further from the truth on top of evaluates my son when it was asked to never begin with in the first place!! i dont trust any of my children to go to any of these schools in oakley bx of how this district decided to protect an employee who clearly has done wrong.

There are excessive and unnecessary rules here to no end. I've never seen a school that doesn't allow their students to play before school starts. They all have to walk in some orderly circle. It's a good thing to let kids run around a little before being expected to sit still in a classroom. It's as if they don't understand the true nature of how children learn best. The principle's ridiculous rules and assemblies just keep bashing the idea of compliance and obedience into their little heads. I understand the need for rules, children should be expected to be respectful of their teachers and school but here at Marsh Creek it is as if they are trying to take all joy out of learning. Recess is only an opportunity to be reprimanded for any fun had, not a way to let kids enjoy games and playtime with friends. My daughter just isn't excited for school like she used to, which is unfortunate. The school is set up to make things easier for staff instead of encouraging children, they make them walk, sit still, take tests all day and scold them for just being.

We still due to great planning of the school have a small class, where prince has a blast. He's brought home fun projects to do as a family every once in a while. Last night they threw a dance where kids were literally jumping up and down having a fun time. They had free snacks we were even able to donate ourselves. Santa Claus and The Grinch showed up. The dj was awesome I even danced myself. Im so excited for this school im going to live in Antioch till he's done! why not?

The curriculum is great, and she especially loves when the Tumble Bus visits. She's a very busy toddler and truly thrives here because of all the engaging activities and outdoor playtime.
