The kindergarten year was great. 1st grade, however, well, lets just say, recent events have shown us that this school does not practice what it preaches. Without detailed communication or parental consent, Celebration brought in a guest speaker from Committing to 16 -- someone with no formal training in early childhood education -- to speak to a class of 6-year-olds. Even worse, the speaker contradicted her own organization's message ["Committing to 16 is designed to help prevent mental health issues that come with social media use in kids and teens by avoiding social media usage until 16..." ] by encouraging kids to stay on social media... at six years old! How is that in line with Christian values or healthy child development? C'mon Nurse Kelli - make it sound right. And that's just grazing the top layer of their presentation slides... there's more than social media. How about, vaping, sexual touching? Yeah, that. Even public schools have consents toward subjects spoken on that subject. We're raising our child in a very intentional and supervised way. No sleepovers. No random adults without us present. No unsupervised screen time -- ever. Every minute of his exposure to media is something we explain and walk him through. So, to find out that Celebration assumed all children were on the same path and delivered such content without consent? Completely unacceptable. When my wife addressed the issue in person, she was met with dismissive body language and zero accountability. From what I gathered, they didn't seem to think they did anything wrong -- or perhaps they just labeled us as "overprotective parents." Let me be clear: We may be the first to speak up, but we are not alone. Other parents we've talked to were equally outraged. To top it off, our child has mentioned they often watch YouTube in class. If that's what we're paying thousands a year for, we could have stayed home and done that ourselves -- for free. Celebration Center claims to partner with parents, but in our experience, they make major decisions without transparency and then stand by them without reflection. We no longer trust the school's judgment, and we certainly don't feel they prioritize the well-being or innocence of the children in their care. If you're a parent looking for a school that truly respects and collaborates with families, think twice before enrolling here. They might say the right things, but their actions tell a different story.

All the teachers here know my daughter's name and greet her warmly every morning. Soon, my daughter stopped crying and looked forward to coming to school every day. I am really thankful to Ms Passionai, Angie and Vanessa, they have given a lot of love and patience to my daughter. I thank God for leading me and my daughter here and meeting all people here.

When she judges you to be someone she doesn't like / who is "not good enough" for her standards / or you don't do something in the way she wants it done, she will make it clear in how she treats you; and charges you extra fees. For instance, this last Christmas when she decided each student in the class needed to buy every single other student in the class a present for gift exchange, our family couldn't do that this year due to financial hardship so we were met with a negative attitude and she has treated us and our daughter poorly ever since. We are pulling our daughter out immediately because the last thing we want her to think is that that this type of behavior demonstrated by Miss Dorothy is Godlike or something to aspire to.

My daughter found this when she enrolled him into Hilltop Christian School. He has grown so much and this was because of the wonderful teachers and aides at the Hilltop Christian Preschool. He started with Mrs. Hillary where she helped him mature and focus while learning about Jesus in a safe and non judgmental classroom. She cares about her children and their families. After he left her class, he was promoted to his pre k class where Mrs. Dorothy Coker took over. She provided him with structure and discipline to prepare him for Kindergarten. She works so hard to make sure that her students are prepared for Kindergarten. They are so innovative when it comes to assignments and programs that they put on throughout the year. Yesterday we attended the Pre-K graduation and they did not disappoint. They made sure that all of the graduates felt special and appreciated. Thank you Hilltop Christian Pre-School for the work that you do year round. Your love for the children that you are entrusted with show in all that you do. Be encouraged and never let a few negative comments make you feel under appreciated. Remember Hurt People Hurt People.

For allowing soccer tournaments here, I have to say that they are not very welcoming. They…read moreoverwater their lawn which makes it hard for the kids to play soccer and they lock down their restrooms. They had ONE portapotty and it was filthy filthy! I mean, if you don't want people using your school restrooms then don't allow soccer tournaments in your fields. Anyhow, the weather was great and I just didn't drink as much water as my body needed so that I didn't have to use the restrooms. All the parents that attended the tournament were very friendly and welcoming. There were two playground areas which was nice for the little kids not participating in the games. I hope I don't have to come out here again.

They helped him grow so much as a person in just a few months I saw a big difference in him.
