Yesterday, I dropped Gigi at around 11am and I didn't receive the call until after 6:30 pm to pick her up but she was literally the 2nd to last on the list of drop offs. They did a decent job with her cut and she remembered everything I asked for! Sorry I couldn't get better pics but she didn't want to sit pretty for a pic. Lol! But she looks A LOT BETTER than she looked when I dropped her off. This was my first time bringing my dog to a drop off groomer. Well, it's there on DEAF EARS, since they have no intentions of reviewing the request. Another issue I witnessed while standing there today is that husky gentleman(first table in view when you walk in) had his hands gripped forcefully around a tiny, white yorkie's neck. In fact, he readjusted the grip a bit tighter while trimming the facial hair. It was very concerning since dogs have been known to stress during follow-up visits. I have been a customer for 3+ years, but will be searching for a new groomer after those issues.

I have an apricot toy poodle named Kaylie, who's turning 15 this week. She's been seeing Alex since she was about 3 years old. It's insane how much time flies! Due to her age, Kaylie has cataracts and has a hard time moving around if she's unaware of her surroundings. Alex and his wife and team treat Kaylie with so much love and care. I never have any worries when I drop her off for her appointments. They do a wonderful job and always ask me if there are any worries or focus areas they need to concentrate on. Communication is always top notch here and they literally feel like family. Scheduling with them has gotten a bit more difficult lately but it's not a problem for me as I like to schedule 1-2 weeks in advance anyway. His reputation and work speaks volumes so I reckon his schedule is always busy. My sister also brings her toy poodle, Missy to see Alex. She's a feisty one and they still manage to have her all dolled up and beautiful every time! Lastly, I would definitely recommend Splendor Paws to anyone looking for a trustworthy local groomer who can get to know and grow with your pup as the years go by. You won't regret it. I promise you.
