For example, when I first went there, I'd never been to a laundromat before and was quite nervous so I had some rather obvious and silly-sounding questions, like how to exchange bills for quarters, but the gentle woman behind the counter patiently answered my questions and made me feel welcome. As well, I've only ever seen her and other people who work there treat their customers fairly and courteously. I'm grateful for the people at Richard's Laundromat.

My hotel in Mt Laurel New Jersey had one washer and one dryer. Not only that the price to wash was…read more$4.00 and so was the price to dry. I did one load there where I even mixed darks and lights because one I was pressed for time (couldn't wait for another load) and two I was pressed with the price. So the following weekend I went online and found a few options. Some with lots of machines, a little further, some with a coffee shop inside, but this one caught my attention so I decided to give it a try. The place was very clean and well kept. Smelled very good. There was a very nice lady there working that seemed to know everyone that came in. You can tell there is definitely a local vibe in this place. The clientele was very friendly. The machines start at $2.50 to wash and $0.25 to dry for every 7 minutes. Can't beat that ! So I was able to separate my cloths this time, do 2 loads and be in and out in less then 1h30m. There is parking in the front. People can double park behind you if they need to quickly run inside. And there is additional parking in the back. The only thing I would add as a service to the customers is Wi-fi. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to be able to sit in the car and wait while watching some movies on Netflix thru your laptop.

My entire half century life has been spent with the privilege of a WD in residence. On extremely…read morerare occasions, I step into a laundromat. Typically this is while traveling or camping, and I have extremely low expectations of the experience. Tonight changed that standard. Long story short, my dryer is out of commission and I had a big ikea bag full of wet laundry that needed immediate attention. I drove past another establishment because of the reviews for this place. Super clean, welcoming space, even a roomy restaurant room. I just needed a dry so I came to the left wall and picked my lucky number machine and let er rip. $1 for 24 minutes and I can use a CC? Yes please. (Though I did stare at the machines trying to figure out which reader worked which dryer but that's my fumble. Maybe bigger arrows would help?!?) There was a game show running on a large screen tv with the volume down enough that my AirPods could noise cancel the sound. Free WiFi too! It was 84 degrees at 8pm and after a long day doing errands in the heat, I greatly appreciated the frosty AC. Honestly, the only thing to improve the experience would be a cold beverage vending machine. Bravo Revolution!!!

UPDATE as of 2/9/2026…read more So much better! I don't see the woman with the glasses that I mentioned earlier below working over there now. She was the one and not the woman without the glasses who is very nice and thorough. There is also a man working with folding and now my opinion has changed. One bad apple can spoil the laundromat but remove the bad apple and then all is good again. I have resumed coming here. Thankful she is gone. Written 1/2026 Have been going here for about two months now using the drop-off service and have a couple of issues. I pay extra for detergent and fabric softener. Each assortment of clothing items are separated and placed in a tight plastic bag with a knot. My clothes are never soft and they never have a Gain scent which is strong. How can I open numerous bags every week after paying an average of $27 - $33 dollars including my usual $4+ tip and get this? I never asked for the blue stuff which I have no clue as to what that is but my brand-new underwear had a large blue blotch spot on the rear side and it's obvious she is not using anything I am paying for. The last draw was last weekend when I picked up my clothing, yet again, no scent once the bags were opened that evening and then the next two days. Once you open that bag, the Gain detergent and Gain Fabric Softener I paid for would smack you in the face. It's a strong fragrance! I am very upset because I went to get my beautiful heavy robe from Pottery Barn which is always ALWAYS soft after washing and drying it with just a dryer sheet and when I pulled it out, it didn't have any Gain scent NOR did it feel soft. It was so crispy and crinkly when I put it on and had static electricity. The woman there during the daytime is a thief and a liar. This has happened for two months and I'm done. Taking my business elsewhere and shame on them. By the way, no plastic bags although tied tight had scent in them either. STAY FAR AWAY unless you want to be treated like a fool. Now I'm off to find somewhere else to bring my usual 20-22 pounds of clothes I paid her to wash....oh, wait, it just occurred to me they might not even be washed!

I went to this place the other morning because my dryer stopped working. I was denied the use of…read morethe dryer because my clothes were not washed at the laundromat. There was only one other person there, so it wasn't like the place was busy. I guess they do so well there, they can deny people use of the machines. I guess that defeats the purpose of a laundromat. I went elsewhere and I will not go there if I'm in need laundry assistance!
