The attendants were helpful; other than a few dryer sheets on the floor, the facility was clean and I was glad to see a bathroom was available if needed. There is a TV on the wall and we all laughed at Steve Harvey on Family Feud. I was there about 3 hours. Smooth, drama free experience. Bulletpoints: -About 10 parking spaces in side lot -the parking lot is one way in (from Jefferson Highway) and exits out to Wilker Neal Ave -customers use a laundromat card for the washers and dryers -use cash (accepts Bill's 1,5,10,20,50 per the labels) to load their laundromat cards ($1 card fee) -cold wash is cheaper than warm/hot water washes -one attendant (older Black woman) was working on a laundry order and paused to assist customers with loading their laundromat cards -an older gentleman was taking care of the parking lot and bathroom -a second gentleman arrived later and entered the office -large dryer 6 min, $0.57; -medium dryer 8 min, $0.46 -there are benches along two of the walls

The attendants are friendly and knowledgeable. See Ms. Patricia if you need help with anything. She's an angel. The building is safe and secure. I was able to unload and reload my clothes with out any foolishness. Cons: when you ask how much is the wash/dry/fold service they tell you $1.25/lb of clothes. However they don't tell you it's a 10 lb minimum charge even if the clothes aren't 10 lbs. They also charge you around $5 per load for water. Which brings the total to around $2.00/lb. Why not just charge $2/lb? OR have it posted in writing in the facility OR make sure the attendants communicate the service charges when customers inquire about the prices? I've used this service on and off since 2013. When I was still living in an apt and didn't have my washer/dryer connections yet and just recently when my washing machine bit the dust at my house. I was informed that the washateria was under new ownership because previous trips did not have all the extra service charges. I've been coming here long enough that I've watched the price for wash/dry fold go from $0.75/lb to now $1.25/lb. Obviously I'll be back but man did this most recent visit put a sour taste in my mouth.

Long post alert! I…read morewent to take my birthday pictures today and decided on a laundromat concept. After searching on Yelp for the most aesthetic laundromat in New Orleans, Holy Sheets came up as #1...and once I saw the photos, I already knew this was the one. The floors alone sold me! I also had an oversized blanket to wash, so I figured I could kill two birds with one stone. When I arrived, I sat and waited for my photographer, then went to ask a staff member a question about starting my wash. That's when she let me know photos weren't allowed, but she offered to check with the owner. A few minutes later, he arrived (I hate that I can't remember his name), greeted customers, and then came over to speak with me. I explained it was for my birthday shoot, and he kindly let me know it was a busy time and he didn't want to make other customers uncomfortable, but he offered to schedule another time for us to come back. Very respectful and professional. Of course, with a scheduled shoot, we couldn't really pivot like that, so I thanked him and started making other plans. BUT then...he came back and said we could go ahead and take pictures, just to be mindful of customers and stay on one side. That meant so much! Even though people naturally started moving into that area (lol), we made it work, and he was super accommodating the entire time. I really appreciated that level of kindness and flexibility. Now let's talk about the space, this laundromat is BEAUTIFUL, if laundromats can be beautiful lol. Clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The floors? Stunning. The machines were all in working order, plenty of baskets available, and I love that they offer full-service wash and fold options too. What stood out the most was the customer service. He greeted people as they came in, listened attentively to customers, and created a welcoming environment. Overall, such a great experience. Thank you for being a part of making my birthday special!

Pros: 1. Clean and well lit 2. Seemingly reasonable prices (several different-sized washers, price dependent, and $1.50 dryer) 3. Clean restrooms 4. Lots of chair/table space to spread out 5. Connected to Green Olives so you can get delicious food while you're cleaning up your laundry. Cons: -- Not 24 hours? I don't know that it actually matters, it works well for me, and I'll happily go back while avoiding paying for a technician. I can't really speak much in comparison to other laundromats since I don't have the wide range of experience, but for what it is, I'm a fan!

That's the kind of neighborhood kindness you don't forget. The place itself is always clean, and the vibe is laid back and friendly. Folks here tend to look out for each other--like letting someone use the leftover minutes on a washer or dryer instead of wasting them. The machines work great if you use them the way they're meant to--just remember to give your loose articles an extra spin to make sure everything's fully dry. All in all, it feels like a real community laundromat where people are nice if you're nice. Can't ask for more than that.

It was a little more than I was expecting but admittedly that's my fault because I didn't check to see how much I put in the hamper. Plus when they sent me my clothes back not a thing was missing and they sent along a little toy! I don't understand this type of regulation and whose idea it was. I clarify that I come here to wash and dry my clothes and the only one I come to dry is my baby's, they should take this into account that I imagine that it has not only happened to me and as it bothers me I suppose many people too, The person who took me out of the laundry is the lady who speaks Spanish and English.
