Several weeks ago, I noticed this Laundromat, which is nearly catty corner to the other place that…read moreI normally go to. Converted from a old garage, and when compared to most other laundromats" this place is really big. When I arrived at about 08:50, the place already had several customers. Plus, another one walked in behind me (despite the long row of front loaders, the lady used the washer located right next to me). My washer seemed to do the job. But, no soapy water build up occurred. And, the timer was stuck in the starting time of 23 minutes. I believe this place is a bit more expensive than the other location. And, the Dryer cycle is 1 minute less, as well. The open doors, and blowers, made washing comfortable. But, with the Dryer positions, it got sticky pretty quickly. At least here, they have an attendant on duty. Not sure if I'll be back, or not. Especially, and considering, 2 more turns are required to get there.

However, what I found surprising, despite being here for years, this location wasn't listed. So, I was unable to Check In. As we pulled up to the side of the building, where the Donation Drop-off is, 2 employees came out with a shopping cart. So, I was just able to put the QS Mattress Topper, and a Day/Date/Clock, in the cart, and they took it inside. Normally, I don't shop 2nd hand. But, next time, when we have a bit of time, I'll go inside, and look around.

I did not end up using Meadow Movers, but I did want to comment on their service. I called them…read morelast minute as my daughter was informed that the new apartment she was moving into at college was not going to be available until the day AFTER she had to move out of her old one. Our only option was to move all her stuff into a storage unit and then move it again the next morning. We had help the first day, but no friends/family to help us the second (Thursday and Friday). I called a couple movers and Meadow's was the only one willing to work with us on this. It was such a relief to have a plan and they even talked me down on what I thought I was going to need - great customer service. The day of the move we were told that the apartment was indeed going to be ready so we no longer needed to go through the mess of moving things around and no longer needed the extra help, so we had to cancel. I'm sure they would have done a great job based on their excellent customer service!!
