Faced with a few different options, we settled on Suds - and I'm glad we did. I've walked by this place so many times that I almost forgot it existed. Going inside, you're greeted with a massive number of options. The front desk allows you to buy per-load detergent or softener, including a couple of variants like Oxi-Clean (obligatory shout-out to my boy Billy Mays). There are approximately 25 dryers and 20 washers, with the latter costing anywhere from $3.50 - $8 (for large loads like comforters and bedding). There's a "valet" service where you can pay about $20 to have one of the employees handle your laundry on-site, with a note put on some washers for customers to pick up their stuff. We found the process to be straightforward and easy. There's a change machine on-site that dispenses coins for $5, 10 or 20 bills. Despite the note on the machine, it doesn't dispense tokens. The dryers are relatively cheap, and it pays (literally) to go during some weeknights, as it's half-price per 10 minutes of drying time. The place was a hive of activity on the Sunday I went, with most being older residents - the exception being the temptress employee who looked way too young and walked around doing laundry in a halter top and low-cut shorts while stealing glances. Your charms don't fool me. If I have a criticism of this place, it's the parking out back. While there is parking, it's not immediately noticeable from the street, and we had a car who parked in a tight spot beside our vehicle when there was a whole row of empty spots on the other side (albeit marked with "Reserved" signs. That said, there's a lot to love. One 30-minute wash cycle is good enough for most loads, and 30 minutes of dryer time is adequate. The site is easy to access (it even has wheelchair-accessibility), and everyone is generally friendly. Suds is well worth visiting in a pinch, and I can see why it's been a mainstay of the Port Credit community for so long. Recommended.

I spent about 10 minutes in the cramped building looking for a sign for the wifi until eventually I called their number. The woman who picked up was rude in that lazy, I don't give a shit attitude as she asked me which coin laundry I was in. After telling her she said that it first didn't work and then that it was taken away because people were abusing it. The inconsistency of her story convinced me that it was never available at this location. When I highlighted that they were advertising as having wifi online she acted disinterested and informed me that it was no problem. I guess I wouldn't have had as much of a problem with this if I a) hadn't been lied to and b) was treated like shot when I asked about it. Addition; A minute after writing this review in the laundromat a tile fell off the wall next to me.

Washing machines: prices per load reflects whether the machine is old/new and its size. Goes from $2.50 to $5.50 (triple load machine). Detergent available for sale and you can easily break your bills/coins into quarters with the owner. I've been short-changed here before because quarters were just dumped in my hand instead of counted out for me. The pricing keeps getting more and more expensive ($6 in Nov '18 to use a large washer and however much more to dry, the price varies as the machines don't always work). It's becoming untenable for ageing machines despite spending money to renovate their service area, and very bad service. It's the business' duty to guarantee the machines are working, and when they're not working, it's their job to believe clients and make it right, instead of telling paying clients they can choose to put more money in for broken machines. I avoid doing laundry here as much as possible. I also hate leaving reviews like this, even worse for places in The Market. But honesty and community is important, and you get what you give ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
