His birthday was on a Sunday and when we arrived at open, we had the place to ourself for a good while until one other party arrived. In that time, 5-6 people came to pick up their to-go orders, so the place is very popular! While we were viewing the menu we munched on what I believe is called papadum with 3 different sauces. My favorites were the minty one and the mango - delicious! To start, we ordered the Hara Bhara Kabob which were spinach and goat cheese patties. I absolutely loved these! Additionally, we tried the butter chicken lollipops. The lollipops themselves were so crispy and crunchy and the sauce - I really wanted to drink it (lol) it was soooo good! My husband really wanted the lamb vindaloo that he saw when he looked at the menu online and although it was not on the in restaurant menu, they still made it for him! I ordered the chicken tikka masala. Additionally we got the garlic naan which was MASSIVE and so aromatic! Both of us enjoyed our meals, expect the spice level on the lamb vindaloo was a bit much for my husband and he likes spicy. He struggled through eating it but kept on because the flavors were too good! When we ate our leftovers the next day, they were just as good!!!! Heating up the leftover naan filled my house with the best scent and everything tasted just as good as when we ate it freshly made at the restaurant. This time we cooled down the vindaloo with some yogurt which was perfect - flavors all still there just a bit more mild and we were able to savor them more without the struggle haha When I made my reservation, I informed them it was my husband's birthday and although we were full and did not get to dessert, they brought him out a dessert platter with their popular desserts and a candle. So, so kind! The platter had the carrot pudding - gajar ka halwa, gulab jamun and shakori rasmalai which was a sweet, spongy cottage cheese dessert which I've never had but was amazing! They are byob and there is street parking, so plan accordingly. Thank you so much Bukhara Grill for a delicious meal and exceptional dining and birthday experience! I highly recommend checking them out!

I saw the menu and was intrigued: I hadn't had meatloaf in a long time. Memories of my grandmas house and Wednesday night dinners danced in my head. I took the elevator down and could smell the SOUL wafting up the elevator shaft all the way on the 14th floor. Gorgeous Tasha (the owner) and her lovely daughter were there to greet me with the most welcoming smiles. They told me about all the dishes and we chatted a bit, very nice folks! I had the meatloaf, mac n cheese and green beans. Normally meatloaf is like some sort of mystery meat held together with eggs and breadcrumbs NOT THIS! It was ALL JUICY MEAT pretty sure it was beef, not pork or anything else. As soon as I reached my desk it was all a blur of food and mouthgasms and then it was GONE The mac n cheese was that home made, baked macaroni with cheese melted on-top and in between. It's not like a cheese sauce, I like both kinds so it was GREAT for me, but I know other people favor the Kraft/Boston market versions which I also love. I know what you're thinking "vegetables !?" But these green beans were cooked to perfection (tender but snappy), and flavored with the perfect amount of garlic, it was not overpowering. Idk where the name comes from but they definitely DROP THE POT on this one ! Definitely would eat again and recommend for catering!

I've had the meatloaf, slaw, pulled pork, and the macaroni and cheese. Although everything has been great, the meatloaf is my favorite - it's juicy and crumbly, not too dry or over-baked. I would highly recommend Drop the Pots for any catering services you need, if you are looking for soul food or Southern cooking. Not to mention, all of the staff is incredibly sweet, kind, professional and genuinely interested in the satisfaction of their customers.

Most of their items are vegan/vegetarian and come with a QR code on how to eat them My girlfriend ordered a couple of items for me: the chili, their chocolate mousse, and their overnight oats citrus basil. The chili had a lovely texture from the black beans and the thick tomato, cumin and just the right level of spice, not too hot but a good amount of kick. The oats were great after a long day and filled with fresh berries and cold oranges sliced on top of the oats behind fresh basil leaves. The mousse was heavenly, it had little bits of pomegranate and added to the texture of the mousse, it was a nice dark chocolate. The delivery system was great, the driver calls you and then leaves a picture of the food dropped off at your door. Will definitely try this place more often!

I almost kept walking when I saw that their menu is entirely vegetarian/gluten-free/vegan. I'm not a vegetarian, a vegan, or a celiac. I've nodded along disbelievingly when friends have told me that some gluten-free recipe or vegan substitution or some such was "just as good" or even better than the "normal" version. So I was rather pleasantly surprised when I didn't just enjoy the "Gaia Green Curry" dish I picked out, I loved it. I was so impressed, I went back later with my wife to grab few more meals, all of which were excellent. They have a pretty wide selection of dishes representing various cuisines (Thai, Indian, Moroccan, Korean, etc). Everything is pre-packaged, ready to grab out of a fridge to bring home and heat up on the stove or in the microwave. There are a few breakfast and dessert options, and some assorted juices and snacks available as well. On top of the food being delicious and healthy, the staff was very helpful and friendly as well.
