I just met with Rachel Long today to discuss plans for my new logo and paper trail branding for my business, Nancy Rothstein Photography. (shameless plug...wait for it....www.nancyrothstein.com) I was referred to Rachel by fabulous Bay Area and beyond photographers Gene Higa and Ann Hamilton. Based on the awesome logos and other design work she did for them, I was very excited at the prospect of hiring her to do some work for me. Rachel doesn't have a website, and frankly, she doesn't need one. The quality of the samples of her work that I have seen in addition to the samples she sent me was excellent. Not only is she a fantastic designer, she successfully orchestrates her designs using a wide variety of styles to suit many different needs. I am eagerly awaiting the first round of comps for my new logo...I'll keep you posted. In the mean time, I give her five stars for all the work I have seen so far, and, did I mention she is totally cool with a down-to-earth personality and a great sense of humor?
