The curriculum design is outstanding. The school places a strong emphasis on core academics and genuine teaching. It gave me great peace of mind. I also have to mention how beautiful the campus itself is. The building features gorgeous high ceilings and real wood floors. Unlike so many modern schools that can feel sterile and lifeless--almost like a hospital or an office building--Stratford has a warm, welcoming, and truly premium environment. It genuinely feels like a luxury, top-tier private school. My daughter needed some extra support in math, and her 5th-grade teacher, Ms. Hannah, was a blessing. She was incredibly patient and took the time to help my daughter step-by-step, not just in math but across all subjects. Because of this, my daughter felt comfortable, confident, and loved learning in her class. She also made great friends and got along wonderfully with her classmates. The administration and staff are phenomenal. When we had to make a very last-minute transition to Stratford in 2025 after the school year had already started, Ms. Andrea from the admin team quickly and efficiently handled our enrollment, making a stressful situation so much easier. We have been part of this incredible school since September of 2018, when my older daughter was just a year and a half old. She went through the 2/3's class twice due to her young age. The second time around, I was pregnant with my second daughter, and the director changed to Stefanie Zoccoli, who had been Priya's original 2/3's teacher. I could never find the words to adequately express just how incredible Stefanie is. She is deeply passionate, loving, endlessly creative, energetic, bright, devoted, and more! It has been the greatest joy to watch her teach and direct the school. When it came time for 3/4's, we were dealing with the pandemic. Stefanie didn't skip a beat! She put together the most creative packages for us to pick up and use during Zoom sessions. They were filled with experiential learning activities. Zoom was far from ideal for 3/4's, but Stefanie blew us away with her creativity. Our older daughter was able to return to the gorgeous campus for Pre-K, and she had the best year! Stefanie was her teacher, and everything was glorious! Our little one attended 2/3's with Ms. Kaitlin, who was also a wonderful teacher. Since we are moving on to a kindergarten in San Jose, we won't be able to send our little one to MHPCNS. I will always treasure the many days spent at that idyllic co-op preschool, and will be forever grateful for Stefanie, Kaitlin, and all of the wonderful parent volunteers who loved and nurtured my children.

Three of the walls are made up of floor to ceiling windows allowing brightness and openness to the room. Attached to the outside of the classroom is a fenced in play structure where the children are allotted a specific amount of time to get fresh air and allow their little bodies to be wild! They can enjoy sliding down the slide, climbing, bike riding, playing house; there are many activities to enjoy all while being carefully supervised. All in all, the Little Learners program was a great starting point for my (at the time of enrollment she was 3) 4 yr old daughter. The class offered a more play base, and socially encouraging platform, so I am confident that my maturing girl will be ready for her next phase of the program, "Kinder Learners". The play area of MHA has big beautiful trees, and MHPD often uses their parking lot scout for speeders on Monterey. And then they give the kids stickers through the fence. My son is leaving MHPA knowing all the planets (including dwarf), 50 states of America, countries of the world with flags, body organs. counting by 9, 11, and 10s, AND much, much more. After touring a few daycares (facility and homes based), we came upon The Sandlot. I called and spoke with the owner Lori who explained her care is actually a home based preschool program. We were invited to visit and observe, to see if it was the right program for us and to see if my daughter was a good fit for her program. We had a great feeling about it and decided to try it out. SO HAPPY WE DID! Our daughter has been with Lori for over a year now and she has really blossomed! The small (12 children), tight knit learning environment that Lori has established is really incredible! My daughter has been able to make close friends, build her social skills, learn things (like her letters and sounds by 3 1/2yo!), experiment, play, and grow! Lori implements rules that encourage respect, good morals and values, and a general safe and fun place to learn and play. We appreciate the constant communication, and respect Loris suggestions for helping the kids overcome any behavioral issues. My daughter works on art projects all the time, and they are always doing some sort of unique and creative learning activity. Lori has 2-3 assistants who are equally amazing with the kids!
