EXAMPLE BILL $395 CO-PAY $45 BALANCE $350 PLAN AGREEMENT $325 PLAN PAID $25 so doctor eats $325 Dr. Shapiro is PRIVATE and he is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY THE BEST TO HAVE ON YOUR SIDE AND HAVE YOUR BACK, you pay for what you get, my son's life was not worth short cutting and being cheap, Dr. Shapiro has the right to pick and chose who he deals with everyone out there has the right to decide where they want to go, but every penny I spent I would have gladly paid twice as much insurance or not this is our doctor for life, I'll eat peanut and crackers before I switch doctors. Talbert House Review First off, let me say I did appreciate…read morethe thought of continuing my career with Talbert House. However, I stepped away from my position with Talbert House the same week I began training due to unsafe/hazardous work conditions. The people I met, who were supposed to be my coworkers were amazing people and very helpful for the few days that I was there. Unfortunately, I discovered during my second day on site that the building I was in had a bedbug infestation that I had to learn about through clients and staff members. I was informed while trying to reach my office, not to lean on the walls and that I could not utilize my office (that my boss just asked me to work in 5 mins prior) because they would be bombing for a bedbug infestation. I was not made aware of this during my interview, trainings, or the previous day that I was on site. At the same time, I found out that the building did not have proper ventilation as well. I reached out to my boss to let her know I was uncomfortable continuing my training in this building and she let me know to go across the hall because they have not had bedbug problems. I informed her that I would not be returning and she did not reply at all. I reached out to HR two separate times via email to let them know my concerns and about my resignation there's been no response. I received a text message a few days later that my direct deposit information had been changed without my authorization. I did not receive my check on time. Instead, I had to reach out to payroll who informed me they never received my direct deposit information (even though I had a message that it was changed from my bank account information to someone else's/ I set up my direct deposit a week prior to starting training). I asked to speak with HR and left a voicemail about my recent discrepancies and was still ignored. This is my experience with Talbert House. Fortunately, I was able to return home, shower and wash my clothes. That is not the same luxury that the people in the short term facility on Burnet have. I am disappointed to learn that they were not able to attend to the bedbug situation before it became an infestation. I am also saddened about the ventilation in the building and look forward to their move so that the people they serve can have somewhere comfortable to sleep at night and safe enough to be during the day. This short term facility is for people who have recently been incarcerated and are working on being re-introduced to the community, they also struggle with either addiction or mental health issues. I was hoping working for Talbert house would be a part of the solution not a part of the problem. Due to their situation and most of them needing to rebuild as they return to the community. Most will be taking the bugs with them when they leave and more than likely will not have the extra money for treatment once they are settled in their new place. I am also extremely disappointed at the lack of communication. I expected better.

The type of care I have CONSISTANTLY received from N.P. Jeter has been available at hours where NO metal health facility, I've attended prior has been available to this degree. For myself, both being diagnosed & battling for 20+ years with ADHD with OCD components, severe trauma/grief, & depression formed from separate forms of abuse. To my diagnosis of PTSD, which I find to be the most prevalent of my mental health cond. to current date. Everything was great I mean for years. She treated my severe anxieties and PTSD and depression. The medication was working. I was on a similar amount from another doctor years ago, ive been taking anxiety medication for about 17 years. Well recently because LA'risha didnt get my messages, where I sent her my card to make a payment and then sent her a message with my medicaid ID. She always responded through texts so I thought nothing of it. She sent me a letter literally 4 days before my medication was due, the letter was her canceling everything from appointments to my medication because I didnt pay for one visit. This was after I sent my venmo card for payment and my medicaid ID. She said she never got any messages and that she was dropping me. To me this is malpractice and it should be illegal to do to someone who has been on these meds for a very long time and was just going to drop me. I called her to ask if I could make a payment that day whatever she wanted I asked her to please not drop me and she was very rude and did not care. I was lucky she sent one month of meds. She knows everything im going through my wife is in hospice and has serious issues at times ive almost lost her several times.. I need help I need medication and this doctor just literally left me to basically rot because I was seen once for "free". Again I offered to make it right anyway I could and she didnt care. I ask for any recommendations for other doctors for help and she said nothing. Terrible person, I honestly can't believe she did this to me. She deserves to lose her license for the way she handled the situation.

I had been a patient at BridgePointe Psychological and Counseling Services over a year. I have an…read moreunusual set of diagnosed psychiatric disorders, none resulted in body image distortions or addictions. Often, psychiatric services pigeonhole patients into treatment or therapy due to addictions and/or body image distortions. This one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work with me because my problems/manifestations require different care. I explained my concerns to BridgePointe regarding the nature of my psychiatric difficulties.They accepted me as a patient and I saw a separate therapist and psychiatric nurse practitioner who was the meds prescriber. Several months ago the initial therapist stopped seeing me, saying that he wanted to no longer see me because I quit a fatiguing, stressful part-time job before securing a new one. I have a new therapist. Within a month I secured a part-time position from a reputable organization that pays reasonable wages. Most work is done at home and participants report to the organization for two hours once weekly. Like many who are afflicted with mental health problems, I've gone on and off several medications over many years. Initially I thought that the nurse practitioner would work. She seemed caring in regards to my unusual set of psychiatric comorbidities and eager to try medications. We moved forward with a starter pack medication for a new drug. I ran into trouble when attempting to fill the prescription at my pharmacy. Because I am a Medicare patient, I was ineligible for the savings card some patients are able to use. The pharmacist said that I would need to pay $210 for a month's supply. Not happening. And the sample pack's final pill was that Monday. So I call the nurse practictioner's phone and left a detailed message explaining that I am in limbo on how to proceed. I placed my call on a Monday at 11:15 a.m. Her outgoing message said to expect responses Tuesdays through Fridays during normal business hours. So by Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. I hadn't heard back, so I called and left another detailed message explaining that the previous day I had taken the final pill from the sample pack and was unsure of next moves going forward. I still had not heard anything by 3:30 p.m., so I called the office receptionist and asked her to please have the nurse practitioner call me since I was in a medication crisis and my previous calls to her machine went unanswered. She finally called at 3:55 p.m. to say that I need to go online and look for a special form to be filled out by patients and signed by practitioners that would allow me to receive the drug for free or a reduced cost. I'm frustrated and this exercise of hunting down the elusive savings form is like looking for a needle in a haystack. A complicating factor is that the sample pack listed two pharmaceutical company names in partnership. It turned out that a third name absent from the packaging was the company responsible to issuing and reviewing the assistance forms patients needed to download, fill out, and mail in for financial assistance review. The staff at a mental health organization from a city I previously lived had the foresight and courtesy to already print the pharmacy-assistance forms so they were ready to give to appropriate patients. She said that she would set out another starter pack. So about 1 p.m. I pick it up and told the receptionist that I had further questions, and could the nurse practitioner please call me. The receptionist said that she was there with another patient and that I would get a call at a free moment. Again I'm waiting, and the hours go by. I don't receive the call until 4:41 p.m. I said that I had concerns about starting again on this medication because I didn't know how long it would take for the from I handed in for her signature would take until the prescription would be filled. The nurse practitioner is now upset because I don't understand that I'm not her only patient. Duuuhhh! I patiently waited 36 hours between my first call and actually speaking with her. I understand that she likely would be with patients throughout the day. But the time lapsed was excessive, esp for a meds emergency. She got testy when I said that I had concerns about the organization's ability to capably treat a patient like me who has numerous unusual psychiatric diagnoses. I said that I questioned her ability to effectively treat me. She said that she would discharge me as a patient because I no longer "trust" her. I said now I do question her abilities to treat (and dismiss) a patient who in just the past 48 hours had suicidal ideation, experienced fits of rage, shrieking episodes, and then the phone call suspiciously got cut. Mental health practitioners have a responsibility to their patients! If you find that you cannot in good faith continue treating a patient, help her/him make the transition to a new therapist/facility. I am now w/out needed therapy, meds. Shame on you BridgePointe!
