I love to water feature, it makes the sitting area that much more appealing. The tiny shop buildings unique and filled with a variety of nice quality items, and some of the best things are made by local artisans. I recommend that both locals and tourists going through the area make Latitude 44 a must stop destination. The coffee is among the best anywhere! The Ice Cream is awesome too. It's a small place in a little country town that is so fun to go to. We sometimes go out of our way to go here. The food is good too!! read more

We are on a long car-ride and I wanted a coffee. Happened to search "coffee near me" and we happened to be about 10 minutes from here. Such a cute place. Barista was friendly, and lots of cute gifts and treats to choose from. I ordered a hazelnut, oat milk latte and was not disappointed. I didn't recognize the brand of coffee they use, but I was sort of sorry I didn't also order a black coffee because this latte is really smooth with none of that burnt taste you get too often. I was driving through the area, in town to hike the Triple Crown, and didn't see a lot of options to stop for dinner. Latitude 44 definitely exceeded my expectations! I got the gyro, very fresh and tasty! $8 is a great price. If this gyro had 2 extra pieces of meat I would pay $10 dollars for the gyro. There were two young lady's running the shop and they were very friendly and accommodating! Good job girls! If your in a hurry to grab and go give yourself a little time to wait for your food since the two ladies made the food fresh. Driving into this place I felt like I was lost since the place is not on the main strip, but don't let that stop you from coming. Lost of drink options; coffee's, smoothies, and fancy sodas. The outside had a lot of seating. The web page made it seam like it was mainly a clothing store but don't let that device you to stop here for food! Manton is not growing. This place can't make Greek anything because you don't make gyro from processed meat and try to say its good. The Zaziki is crap also. Straight from the general store down the road. Try making your own from fresh ingredients. If you do you've never left northern Michigan you don't know what right tastes nor looks like. The coffee has a rancid aftertaste. They should try buying raw coffee beans, grounding them fresh and making coffee after they clean their coffee maker.
