When I am dancing in her class, I FEEL like a dancer because she pushes us to our greatest potential. Not to mention the amazing work-out it gives and it doesn't feel like working out because it is so much fun! I encourage all adults who like to dance to try it out! Also, Giovanna teaches Zumba and she is also full of energy and a lot of fun. The owner Christine is a sweet lady and Carmen at the front desk provides great customer service. Parking is great because you are able to use the church parking lot next door for free. A GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS AND ADULTS!!!! So, get up and DANCE your way into a healthy lifestyle and have some fun too! Adults: you are never too old to dance and have fun, come on!!!

It's tiny & dumpy. There are 2 studios and only 1 has a viewing window. The tiny tots class is 1 hour long...for 2 year olds, really? And too structured. All I hear coming out of the room is "you guys aren't listening"! No sh**, they are 2, it's suppose to be fun quit stressing about the plan you made and just play dance in front of the giant mirror. Anyhow, as soon as my kid is 3 we are out of there. I keep her in b/c it's still activity I cannot provide. The place is REALLY busy and I cannot imagine why. Maybe it's inexpensive.

I recently moved to this area and called a few schools before I decided on this one. From the…read moreminute I spoke to Ms. Kathy I could tell she was flexible and down to earth. I called another school before deciding on Demaira dance studio and the woman said their Summer beginner dance class was full. When I called here Ms. Kathy said I could do the drop in class and see if it was a "good fit" for my daughter. I LOVE and appreciate the flexibility of "drop-in" classes because with toddlers you don't want to commit because it may not work out. I had not purchased tap shoes for my daughter and Ms. Kathy was nice enough to let my daughter borrow and keep a small pair of tap shoes. So we "dropped-in" and my 3 1/2 year old who is shy to try new things gave this class a chance. It always takes her a few minutes to warm up but Ms. Kathy does have the "magic touch". Ms. Kathy does a combination beginner class for 3 and 4 year olds. The class starts off with 20 minutes of tap then 20 minutes of ballet and finally 20 minutes of tumbling. I LOVE that this class teaches a variety of dance styles, something I have not found anywhere else. I really needed to write this review because my daughter did take some ballet classes in the past in Chicago at a popular school on Southport and although the teachers were sweet they could not get her to participate for the full class. Ms. Kathy incorporates the different dance styles and makes the class fun for the girls. Ms. Kathy has been consistently friendly and my daughter has learned to look forward to going to Demaira Dance Studio. I really just want to thank you for your patience and consistency, Ms. Kathy! Ten Stars for you!

No one is even smiling to each other and the students looks like they not enjoying to be there. Very weird !! Just make up classes which most people never show up !! I m very disappointed.

I love…read morethe convenience of parking and studio location, but more than that, I love the adult beginner ballet class. Dina, the owner and instructor, gives us a good workout and challenges us each class but never makes us feel inadequate or like we shouldn't be there (especially nice since we are adults in a beginning ballet class, most with absolutely no experience). She does a great job of explaining the steps and making a fun atmosphere. Each week brings a review and a new lesson and the class is definitely becoming addictive. I also get to see the end of her kids' classes and love seeing the smiling faces of the little ballerinas leave each week. Studio M offers great classes for kids and adults and I can't wait to bring more friends to class
