The pork almost melted in my mouth and the apple sauce on the bun was home made. They also have a range of delicious homemade cupcakes and cakes in a display case as you walk in. The white chocolate and raspberry and the cherry ripe cupcakes were the personal favourite of the barista so we had to try them and there were no regrets there. There's also a variety of local wines from the Gloucester and Hunter Regions for sale as well as on their menu. They seem to do tapas style foods at night which I can imagine would be a great treat! We also bought a four pack of their Christmas style beer. Perfect replacement for a dessert wine in my opinion, and I think the owner mentioned something about placing third in the world with that particular recipe. Going to pressure the parents in-law (Port Macquarie locals) to pick some more up for us. They've also just shipped some double IPA's to some bars in Sydney. It was made to order and they didn't have any remaining to taste or buy. Such a pity. However she informed us it might be in production soon (on a small scale). The food portions are good for the protein, but the veggies are sparse at best. Didn't your mum tell you to eat more veggies?? As stated in the tip, there's a 10% surcharge on everything on public holidays. Food, drink, the lot. I hate this practice with restaurants.
