I really wanted to love my extensions, and I appreciate that she came in on a Sunday specifically to accommodate me. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with the installation. I paid $150 to have three rows of brand-new extensions installed, and the finished result was not what I expected.
The rows are uneven and very visible, the thread/stitching is bulky, the bottom row was placed extremely low near the nape of my neck, and the top row was placed so high that it goes past my crown and is difficult to conceal. Despite having three rows installed, the extensions also look thin and do not blend well with my natural hair.
I expressed that I wasn't happy with how they looked, and cutting the extensions was suggested to help them blend. I declined because these were brand-new extensions and I did not want to permanently cut the hair to compensate for an installation I wasn't happy with.
I now have an appointment with another extension stylist only one week later to have all three rows removed and completely redone, which means paying again for a service I just paid $150 for.
I genuinely appreciate her taking time out of her Sunday for me, and I don't enjoy leaving a negative review. However, accommodating me doesn't change the finished result, and I don't feel the installation I received was worth what I paid. I'm sharing my experience and photos so others can make their own decision.
As far as the stylist she was sweet and kind this has nothing to do with her as a person. read more
