We booked a ride home from a wedding one week in advance. The ride was confirmed. We went to the wedding (an hour away from home) and had a few drinks, knowing we had a safe way to get home. Three hours before pickup time, the ride was cancelled. I have heard other similar stories, including someone at our table. It had not happened to us. Now it has...bottom line, don't count on having the service that you signed up for! In the future, I will no longer be using LNC and plan to let everyone know that they are unreliable. read more

They fail to mention that they can and WILL cancel your ride at any time, even 30 minutes before pickup. Ive been stranded at Jones Beach. They don't response to bad reviews, only good ones. DO NOT use. Their service has been in decline for some time now. They don't respond to emails. do yourself a favor and hire a car or Uber. The canceling out of the blue is uncalled for. BEWARE. I'd even be ok with every booking if they issued a caveat "there is a possibility that we might cancel right before pickup." but they don't advertise that. Last night I had the privilege to attend another Yelp Elite Event last night. A Rum tasting at the Bahama Breeze in Lake Grove. Since I knew I wanted to "Taste" a lot of rums I thought this would be a good time to try this service. I called Monday for a pick up on Tuesday. I was quoted a price & asked to pay cash on pick up. Great! The driver Terry was in contact with me letting me know she was on her way & I Was picked up Promptly at the time requested. She drove me home in the comfort of my own car. No smelly dirty cab ride home with a hacking smoker well worth the cost of this service. Not to mention no worry of getting a DWI or having to live with regrets for a lifetime of causing the loss of someone else's life. Plus the cost wasn't much more than a smelly cab ride home. Plus I didn't have to make arrangements to pick my car up the next day. Bonus! Will definitely be using the service again. read more

Made my reservation days in advance for my niece's wedding. About an hour into the cocktail hour I received a text informing me their driver cancelled on them and they could only pick me up 45 minutes earlier than my requested time. This was unacceptable as it was a family wedding that I was staying to the end. After texting back and forth through the wedding I was told they luckily found a replacement and I was able to enjoy the remainder of my event. Having to divert my attention and watch my phone for updates is not the way I planned on spending my time at the wedding. I was ready and waiting at the assigned time. I texted and called the driver to see where she was. She told me she was on her way via text ( did not answer calls) . After a half hour with the venue closed and my family and wedding party gone, I was left alone. After waiting 40 minutes, the driver sent a text saying she was not coming. As a local business owner this is unacceptable especially for loyal customers like me. I have used this service in the past. I then received an apologetic text saying they would offer me 40% off of my next ride. As if inconvenience and loyalty was only worth about $40. It cost me more than that in calling for an Uber and then having to find someone that could drive me back to retrieve my car the following morning when I had to be at work. My personal safety was not taken into account as I was left stranded at the venue. Do not use if you are alone and have no other means or resources to get home. read more

This is the greatest idea and such a kickass value! After attending wedding #3 for the year, I felt bad for making my date the DD...again. Uber or a cab wasn't a good solution, because it would be crazy expensive to take one BOTH ways to this wedding ($120++). We settled on LNC, because it's super convenient to drive your car out, and get driven home in your car later. For a few $ more than a one way cab ride, you have your car in the morning, and you made a responsible decision by not drinking and driving. What could be better than that??? ;) read more

1) Call or email these guys. 2) Tell em where to meet you, and what time you need to GTFO. 3) Drive to wherever you have arranged; party as you like. 4) Meet the driver when they call/text you at the time you said **5**) GET DRIVEN HOME SAFELY IN YOUR OWN CAR (the chauffeur company has someone pick up the driver at your end destination) 6) Drive your own car to work/wherever the next day without having to go pick it up first! ** THIS is what these Chauffeurs do best - get you home safe & sound after a night/evening/morning of imbibing. Screw the shady cabs; my ride from Huntington Station to Selden (don't judge) would've been about $60 for a regular ride. Getting in touch with these guys (a day ahead of when I'd be traveling) cost me $66. You do the math. Do the right thing. read more

I would NOT RECOMMEND this company. About 10 seconds into my first ride with them the driver BACKED INTO A POLL CRASHING MY CAR in an empty parking lot. He refused to let me speak to the owner and was forced to call the cops. THE OWNER REFUSED TO PAY FOR DAMAGES and said "that's why you have insurnace". Use this service at your own risk cause if they damage your car or get into an accident they will just walk away and leave you. I had to get an Uber home after he crashed my car. read more

I recently sttended a cider festival at Calverton links. I set up a pick up with late night chauffuers the week before, they responded to all my questions very promptly. On the day of the event about a half hour or so before our scheduled pickup time I recieved a text from my driver saying that they were there and would be waiting for us when we were ready. It was well worth it and about the same as a cab ride, but no need to figure out how to get our car the next day. I already have them scheduled for another pickup in a few weeks!!! read more

I guess I made the mistake of being honest and had mentioned a dwu I had in California in 1980 because that was the excuse I got for not sendiung me the email. I'm assuming it's because I'm disabled due to chronic pain. I have a security guard liscence and a chauffeurs endorsement on my nys liscence and there's nothing I can't drive. About 10 min after time of pickup, I called the person assigned in the app and he said that he was t scheduled to come to me. Didn't offer an alternative or to speak with someone else. So now I am inconvenienced at a place where my car is and had to Uber home and then go back for my cat. Safe to say I won't be using these people again. read more

Me and my fiancé had booked a reservation with them for Labor Day weekend (Friday) to just pick my car up from the barbecue we were at and to just drop it at our house and leave the key in the mailbox. The girl in the office said that's not an issue that her driver would get the car around 1230am which was fine somehow my car didn't get brought home till almost 4am where I have video proof of the driver parking my car not even in front of my house where there was clearly parking open but across the street and didn't even lock my car up. I made a reservation with Late Night Chauffeurs for me and 2 friends to be driven from Jones Beach Theater to Rockville Centre in my car after a concert we were attending there ended. The arrangement was for us to meet around 11PM in the parking lot. I called them to reserve about a week before the show, which was scheduled for Sunday July 29th 2018. The cost was $64 charged to my credit card, in my opinion cheaper and simpler than having to take a taxi to and from the venue. Plus taking your own car to the venue affords other benefits - it allows you to bring your own food, beverages, music, chairs, etc. - all the party materials you need to properly tailgate prior to a show! And you can be completely at ease while you partake, safe in the knowledge that you will not have to worry about driving later on. I called them upon arriving at the theater that afternoon just to let them know I was there, and to tell them I was parked in the main lot near the beach & bathrooms. We then proceeded to enjoy a full tailgating experience. Later on that night around 10PM, the driver texted me just to confirm my car's location, make/model/color etc. I received another text at 10:45PM that they were on site. As soon as the show ended just a few minutes later, we exited the theater. As we approached my car, the driver was already there waiting for us. We all jumped in as he took the wheel. The drive home was smooth and uneventful. Once at our destination I thanked the driver, gave him a tip, and with that he jumped into another car that pulled up behind us and left. Couldn't have been easier! Overall I would say the service we received from Late Night Chauffeurs was completely professional and very efficient. I definitely plan on using them again! read more

We have used their services a few times now and think it's the best thing going....went to two weddings and a night out east and they were always there on time to pick us up and got us home safely. It's so much better than taking a taxi home or more affordable than getting a car service. What's better than going out in your own car, having a few drinks, and not worrying about who the designated driver has to be because you know a nice, friendly driver will be there later to drive you and your car home.....no worrying about who's going to take you to get your car in the morning!!!! At 15 before pick up I got a text that my driver was here but gave a different name of the driver stating the original driver was delayed and an alternate was sent. This service is great- we had a wedding at one of the vineyards in North Fork, Late Night Chauffeurs showed up on time (despite the horrible weather) and drove us home safely. This company came highly recommended by a family friend. I wish I had a good experience to report. It's a great idea- but has poor execution. The first issue is safety. I'm not quite sure how well accounted for their drivers are (given my experience) or how well they vet out their driving skills. I had an 11 p.m. pickup. I received a text saying they would be 30 minutes late. Thirty minutes turned into nearly an hour late. To their credit, they gave me a $10 discount. I think the worst part is the lack of customer service. I should've known that this company wasn't customer service based when I had to call them several times re: my reservation (they didn't return my calls). When I finally got a person and not a machine, he was personable. The final straw: I emailed them the following day after the delayed service (well over a week ago) and no one had the wherewithal to respond. It's disappointing considering this would be a great alternative to Uber. read more
